you can get a spare magnet and strap off ebay for £15
plus postage
-
My 2012 did the same, Birkets sent me a full 2013 rear suspension set up under
warranty which is a lot stronger and uses bolts rather than C clips
-
never mind the smoky sherco, what about the ossa that kicked your a*** !!!!!
-
-
you sound full of useful tips, have you got
any for setting a carb up on a 2012 300cc
gas gas racing ?
-
Went out riding on Saturday and my 2012 ossa wouldn't
start at all, checked the plug and it was bone dry, checked
a few connections around the plug and tried again and it
fired into life. could this be the start of a fuel pump problem
I ve heard of people having problems but not sure of the
symptoms

Raptors on order as the make them to suit the ossa
foot rest bolts now
jsp

Just noticed my footrests are getting very worn and smooth on my 2012 bike, has anyone fitted an after market pair ?

I was told what ever map you have it on when you remove the switch
that's what it will stay in. not sure about those lanyard kill switches ive
heard of them popping out
-
canada280i you where right its a doddle to change the coolant in an ossa
I drained out the old and flushed it twice with water then refilled, changed
gearbox oil, changed front and rear brake pads and got the rear suspension
sag spot on, just need to get out on it now !!!! roll on bank holiday Monday

don't know jus ordered some putoline ice at £17.99 for 2 litres,
I suppose I could just fill it up with water and then drain again
-
is there products you can use to flush the system out ?
-
Has anyone changed there coolant in a TR280i
was it much of a job to do ?
mine looks white in the top of the rad so was thinking
of maybe changing it
-
or theres a small allen headed screw on the side of the
cylinder if you can get a syrigine small enough to could
us that
-
Just unscrew the cylinder from the frame
And top it up
-
canada280i can you elaborate on how modified the air filter
or send photos, ive got a the 2013 kit here but then realised
that the ecu was in the way. whats very expensive a new
wiring loom ?
jsp
-
ric h
the ecu is sat in a trough shaped in the airbox it unclips
from there and should unclip from the plug, when you get it
apart check the ecu pins and the plug pins as the do either
get water in or condensation and start to go green and
fir up, I cleaned mine and refit it with a good helping
of electrical silicone grease

I always replace the metal bolts with plastic number
plate bolts, then the bolts snap rather than the
mudguard

has anyone fitted a 2013 filter set up to a 2012 bike ?
-
You 40 miles away from home, you
Don't go that far away on holiday !!!!!

5 months ago, back up from birkets 100%.
id have another like a shot if i could get a good

That new factory replica ossa looks
Fantastic, wonder how many penny's
It will be ?
Shame the trade in values are crap
Or I could have been tempted

After replacing the rear suspension arms on my 2012 bike due to the main pin snapping, I ordered some new swinging arm bolts as the heads where a bit chewed up, I've just come to replace them and the have both shered off at the end of the threads. I've looked at the shocker and the spring is only hand tight can anymore tell me what the measurement of the spring should be with the shocker off the bike from the factory. Once I get that sorted and tightened up will i be ok to use the Alu swinging arm bolts I've just got or should I look for some steel replacements ?
