i mainly agree with that, after seeing fuji almost overdo the big skip jump in an almost "ahvala like" attempt, i would say that they most certainly dont lack the necessary power, they might not have quite as much as the two strokes but enough to complete all of the sections thrown their way. the big limiting factor appeared to me to be the weight issues, they just didnt seem to have the grace that the 2t riders seemed to have when hopping the bike around.
We will have to see if this is the case when Bou gets hold of one.
-
highland lassie,
you didn't mention his charity work.
-
Andy,
3.22am.......You seem remarkably sober.
I'm just off into the garage to inspect my footrests.
-
Unfortunately, due to a prior engagement, I will not be going. It will, as ever, be one hell of a night, the new format for the event looks very promising indeed.
It is a big pity that Bou and Dibs are not on the 4 bangers, that would have been the icing on the cake.
Oh dear, I appear to be getting withdrawl symptoms, I wonder if I can break my prior engagement?
Anyway, as ever, good luck to Doug, he will need to be riding to this best of his ability, what with Cabestany on top form at present
, Raga the current dominate force in the indoor WTC and Bou always capable of an upset. It should be a fantastic night.
Dabster, be a luvvy and text me the results. Cheers.
-
It would have been impossible to observe those rules. Its a bloomin good job it is a joke!!
-
Yeah I remember the joke they did a few years ago about 4 Strokes.................
Montesa HRC fell for it bigtime........
-
Doug for his 100th WTC win and hopefully a 8th title.
-
Albert Cabestany has won the 2006 Spanish Indoor Trial Championship at the final round. This must give Albert a huge boost going into the 2007 World Indoor Championship in the New Year.
-
I heard several weeks ago that I did not get an entry, although the regs were sent back straight away. This is a major disappointment as it is a superb trial.
-
Is not quite the absinthe that makes you go mad and cut off your ear like Van Gogh but it is non the less potent. enough.
It goes without saying that any form of alcohol is best enjoyed responsibly......................
-
My Christmas tipple for this year is going to be :-
Belgium Kriek beer - cherry flavour
Tyski - Polish beer
Ashai - Japanese beer. You never know when Fujigas is going to pop round.
Good old Stella.
Cuba Libres. Got to have lime and it has to be full blown Pepsi.
Absinthe - Usually a good attempt is made to set fire to the kitchen.
Merry Christmash...........
Yerrs are me besht mates.......
-
They are a decent enough boot but are no where near the quality of Gaerne. However if you can get them a lot cheaper than Garene then their worth buying. I.e. About
-
EDCM
Oh no another charity..................
Please take time to have a look at the above link your support would be appreciated.
-
Got the no over a week ago, so fingers crossed you've got a ride.
-
He would have been up for a bit of payback to you as well.
-
See, let the colonies develop and think for themselves ( ) they just get above themselves
Is Scotland still an English Colony?
-
He's in good company. I'm in a state of depression after getting the big KB (knock back) from the Colonial.
How bad is his depression has he turned to drinking non alcoholic drinks?
-
The junior class is a very important step up to the full adult class. I think Browny finished on the podium at every round and won took it to the Spanish on their home ground. Certainly more than capable in following in Dib's boots and winning the junior class in 2007. He also has a first class minder, I think he's called John.
-
How come when I walked onto site this morning, in the middle of Leeds, the first bloke I met was an Aussie.
Well done Australia. You, without question, deserve the win in the series. Lets hope we can somehow avoid a white wash.
-
If anything I would be classed as a Smoggy. Geordies are from Newcastle and I was born in Middlesbrough.
In fact when I was born in Middlesbrough it was within the North Riding of Yorkshire, so I could also class myself as a Yorkshireman. Monkey hangers are from Hartlepool.
Geography lesson over.
Is that enough factual information?
Spud, you still haven't explained your statement about Raga letting Fujigas win and mysteriously having the World Title sewn up mid season, although strange as it may seem, the points didn't reflect that.
-
Is the same dream world where Raga lets Fujigas win and has the WTC sewn up half way through the series.
I'm not surprised you can smell bull, your full of it.
-
So you can use the word B*****ks as long as you spell it wrong.
You are sending out the wrong message to children.
B*****ks
-
You've spoilt all my fun now.
B*****ks.
-
I don't think I contradicted myself. Money does play a part but it simply does not buy success thats still down to the rider. I have a the best bike, IMHO, all the riding gear, a D Zign helmet and I'm still *****.. So I'm walking proof money doesn't buy success.
I was also very surprised I could say B*****ks....
B*****ks.
Funny that. You can't type the name of a steel producing town in Lincolnshire, but you can say B*****ks.
B*****ks.
-
Buy success in trials.....................What a load of B*****ks.
The money, the factory back up and the bike may help but trials ultimately is down to a riders ability, hard work and dedication.
Has Doug bought 7 World titles?
As for Spud's statement about Raga allowing Fuji the win, that also is a load of absolute B*****ks. If that was the case why did he lodge an appeal about Fujigas's win in Poland? Also Raga did not seal the series half way through it, it went to the last round in Belgium.
I think some people have been hitting the Xmas Sherry a bit early this year.
