I got my Mitani flat tank from Scottishtrial in Spain and it was supplied without the fuel pump. I had to get a local motorcycle shop to carry out the modification to the fuel pump to make it fit. This was basically altering the angle of the bracket. I don't know anyone in the UK who manufactures or converts tanks.

England's performance in the Ashes has been criminal, its obvious the team should remain in Australia after the series. I would have liked to say its only 1 out of a 5 match series, but we have been so utterly and comprehensively humiliated I can't see us winning a test never mind retaining the Ashes. I'm afraid I haven't jumped off the cricket bandwagon I've been catapulted off it. I sincerely hope I'm made to look a total fool regarding the above statement. It's one hell of a sexy tank mod, I think it looks a lot better, but I could never have it on my own bike, how far can it go now without re-fuelling. The longest trial I've done is the Bilsdale Trophy trial and I got to both petrol stops without having to use the 500mm of fuel I was carrying. Most club trials not a problem but for longer trials I will carry some spare petrol.

The East Yorks Centre was in the past not a happy hunting ground for Montesa but now the place is swarming with them. At the Bilsdale trophy trial I think there was 28 gassers and 25 4RT's. A year ago there would have been less than double figure monts.

Its no surprise that Avondale decided to go it alone for Sheffield and good luck to them. The series is becoming a bit of a joke, rounds still to be confirmed and three rounds taking place in Spain coupled together with extortionate advances and last year events being re-scheduled at the last minute. There was a definite difference when I put a bigger MC on my Repsol, not sure as to the practicalities of why. I also recently tried a friends 4RT with the Mitani plates and the larger MC and couldn't tell any difference.

Clashes with the indoor rounds these days. The indoor WTC ia over well before the SSDT and I don't think it clashes with an outdoor round. I think its more of the factories fear of the top WTC riders getting hurt over the 6 days.
