Can't understand why Scorpa would want Friexa back, especially as they parted company last season after only a few rounds. Evidently he is a bit of a prima donna and argubly past his sell by date. I wonder if he will be riding the 4 stroke?
-
I went to Barcelona a few years ago and it was superb, apart from them booing Doug.
Have a great time but watch the Octagon website for last minute changes. Although the Barcelona round is usually okay.

I noticed in YOU HAVE USED WORDS OR A PHRASE WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE DELETE YOUR POST/TOPIC. DO NOT TRY TO CIRCUMVENT THE FILTERS IN PLACE ON THIS WEBSITE there was a picture of Adam Raga signing an autograph, under his arm he is holding a Montesa HRC poster, probably to put on his bedroom wall. He will be looking at the photos of Toni Bou and thinking he wishes it was him.

I would love to go but realistically can't see it happening. So to answer your questions, no I haven't put a written request into Mrs C for permission to go to Guatemala.
CK
PS Is the term Guat and bit like Nam?
-
Looking at the FIM website there appears to be only one country for this years WTC with a website already established. Its as if there is no encouragement for people to travel to attend the WTC rounds.
Surprisingly enough ithe country I'm refering to is Guatemala. Well done to them 10/10.

Does anyone know if there is an official website for the 2007 Spanish World Round on 1st April 2007 at Real Mancha.
Thanks
-
The first round is next Sunday 14 January 2007 in Granada. Obviously subject to possible last minute change by Octagon.

Going off topic, but only slightly, the moderators should ban the use of Yorkshire speak alongside text talk.
Its reet annoying ya daft barnpot.

The cricket team got all the praise, deservedly, when the won the ashes in 2005, although some of the team receiving MBE's was a bit much. They now deserve all the criticism currently been heaped upon them. Having said that we are still ranked second in the World and Australia are a hugely talented team.
To counter act Australia rubbing the whitewash in any further Radio five live played the final 35 seconds of the 2003 Rugby World Cup in final. That commentary still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
-
Australia deserve congratulations for their ruthless destruction and humiliation of the English cricket team.
As for the English cricket team, I think the Queen should revoke their MBE's.
-
Has it been on its side? If so could be the bank sensor unit.

Andy
I think you may need to get a restraining order out on some of the people posting on these forums.

Bikespace,
things have changed in the north east and they now allow holidays in the construction industry. I'm a polish plumber.
Whilst others may agree with you and think I'm never there I feel like I spend most of my life driving up and down the A19 / A1, in the dark /wet / fog / ice.
Just 2 more days R & R then its the weekend.
-
The Dougie Lampkin Trials Schools, which are ran in August, gets my recommendation. You can get the details via G2F.
You cannot fail to have a throughly enjoyable and memorable day with Dougie, Martin and others.
All levels are catered for from the very top down to me.

In one of the shots I could just make out someone, pretending to scratch his face but it looked more like he was giving the camerman a one fingered salute. His face was somewhat obscured, yet strangely familiar.
-
Slapewath or Charltons is only open at weekends, Thursdays in the Summer months, membership of Guisborough Club and a practice pass is required . Harwood Dale is open all week but once again a membership of Scarborough Club and practice pass is required. Both venues also require a key to get in.
In fact I had a very pleasant 5 hours practice at Harwood Dale today.

The Geographically Challenged One,
to really gauge people opinons the no charge option should have been included in the poll. (Not that I would have clicked that button - honest)
To me the huge increase in number of hits to this site has been of great benefit to the site sponsors, perhaps their fees should also be reviewed at an appropriate time.
The majority of people, myself included, who are happy to pay a subscription and appreciate the time and effort but into TC by Andy and all the behind the scenes helpers, will continue to use this site regardless. It is the new trials enthusiast and the new visitors to the site who should be targetted rather than the converted. Anything greater than

Thats the excuse I needed to go.
Cheers

I think subscription should not be compulsory, however those that have not or do want to subscribe are themselves missing out and a huge amount of photo's, videos etc, which represents very good value.
-
Andy,
Erics a professional photographer with years of experience, so your not doing too bad are you? However you have an uncanny talent at WTC for capturing the female trial supporter. Strange that.
-
Apologies for not realising that Alexz is riding the 125 Junior World Cup. To be honest I don't know much about the riders in this class but I think Team Wiggy will settle for a second this year. This will be superb experience for a lad who already rides far more maturely than his years would suggest.

Indoor WTC.
Raga is still the man to beat and I think if anyone can do it it will be the 2006 Spanish Indoor Champion, Cabestany. It will be of great interest to see how Bou fares on the 4RT.
Outdoor WTC.
Doug
It would be a bit too predictable if I said Doug was going to win it. The level of riding it is at an unprecedented high so it is going to take all his riding skill, have an injury free season and a generous helping of luck, if he is to pull off the impossible and win his 8th title. I am sure I'm not alone in being 100% behind him. He would be my bet for the crown, however I would expect some good odds. Will win his 100th WTC at the opening round in Spain on 37.
Raga.
Although the current champion, Raga didn't dominate as expected. He will not retain his crown next year.
Fujigas.
Like Doug, if he can avoid injury, he has a good chance of re-taking the crown he last wore in 2004. Won the most number of rounds last year and still probably the most exciting rider to watch.
Cabestany.
Could be the outsider. At time he looked awesome e.g. Andorra, but lacks consistency and consitency is what you need to be a World Champion.
Bou.
A top three would be a fantastic achievement for Bou in his first season with the mighty Montesa HRC team. However I think maintaining his current 5th position is more likely.
Fajardo.
Not quite lived up to his potential. Will not break into the top five this year.
Friexa.
His best days have gone.
Dabill.
Another rider I am looking forward to seeing riding a Montesa with the TRW factory team. I think 2007 will see him start his progression up the rankings. Seventh would be an impressive achievement.
Morris.
Deserves a lot of credit for competing without the level of support his fellow riders enjoy.
Junior WTC
Browny will finish the job he started last season, aided by his sidekick minder Shaun. Shaun will announce his own personally sponsorship deal with a major brewery in March.
Youth.
Alexz. Simple as that!
Oh nearly forgot Happy New Year!!!

In todays climate of political correctness and equality you cannot go around making such sexist statements about the ladies holding the score cards..
Perhaps the organisers should consider the use of score card persons for next years event, which highlight this countries diversity of cultures.
Hang on, the organisers are from Yorkshire.
Sod that and bring on the Totty, the bigger the score cards the better.
