Montesa HRC's 2007 team must be the strongest factory team, but arguably the Lampkin, Fujigas, Freixa team that finished 1 - 2 - 3 in 2003 was the best factory team ever, or was it?

With Bou hoping to gain experience being team mates with Doug and Fuji I'm sure some of his skills, especially on the back wheel will be passed onto them.

I see that top gear have already replaced Richard Hammond with Lily Savage. Evidently a better drag act. Jokes aside it sounds like he has a good chance of a full recovery, which is good news.

Quite simply Bou will one day be a outdoor world champion riding a Montesa, but it won't be 2007.

So TC came up with the scope that Bou was, at the end of the season, joining Montesa HRC signing a 2 year contract. I'd heard sometime ago that Montesa were looking for a Spanish male rider to challenge for the WTC. To me Toni Bou is the obvious choice, young and talented. I personally think its a good move for Toni, Montesa HRC have unquestionably the best factory set up and the chance to be team mates with fujigas and Lampkin and the experience they bring will be if great benefit for his future asperations. In the past Doug predicted Bou as being a future World Champion, the reality of that just took a huge step forward.

Does anyone know the best method of fixing the plunger to the rear brake pedal. It looks like some form of special rivet.

Had some right good laughs this year watching some of the WTC rounds. The likes of Spain and Poland even had bars where there were groups of sections. The big advantage is you don't have to get on your bike with a terrible hangover, you can just go looking for the hair of the dog. Obviously I only promote a sensible approach to drinking alcohol, which should only be in moderation..... Oh dear my nose has just grown 12 inches.

Speaking from personal experience the quality suspension on the 4RT certainly helps, especially in rocky sections. The bike holds its line better than anything else. Quite a number of people have commented that I ride the 4RT better than my Sherco, its a shame by results didn't back this up.

I would love to go, but running a little short on holidays at work. Its supposed to be a good up. The Spanish must be the favourites but I'm pleased to see Morris and Dabill alongside Doug and Grimbo.

I've got the goods I just need the know how.

The White Rose trial was excellent, although, as usual tough. The weather on the Dales was perfect, if not a little too warm. It is also great to see the likes of Jarvis, Dibs, Browny and more riding. I have a feeling Grimbo may have pipped the young contenders though. I was lucky enough to see Grimbo riding a lot of the sections and he was faultless. It made me realise just what the WTC is missing.

The 2 stage programmable throttle body and handlebar mounted switch in not standard on a Repsol, the PTB is. I;m not sure whom the in UK stocks the 2 Stage, ask Sandifords or <mention of this company is not permitted on Trials Central>.

I'm sure it will, I also heard you may get the option for the 2 stage PTB.

Jarvis is going to take some beating, knows the route inside out. But only a fool would ever bet against Doug. Mind you I don't think for one minute it is going to be a two horse race, plenty of things can happen. Whatever the outcome it should be a great day in the Dales.

Pictures and specs for the 2007 standard and repsol are on a rival spanish website. The Repsol looks exactly as I imagined. i.e. like the current factory bikes but without flat tanks and orange rims.

I got to see, altough I wish I hadn't, the Boro v Portsmouth game in a bar off the ramblas in Barcelona. Funny thing was Boro were on the big screen and Celta Vigo v Barca was on the small tv. We had more possession, more shots on goal, they had 6 and scored 4. I'm not complaining as thats football for you. I once saw Boro beat Man City 1 nil without have a shot on goal.

Got stopped at the customs leaving Andorra on monday morning, but they only had a quick look in the boot. Luckily enough they didn't find the stash of chorzo extra pimento, hidden underneath the 20,000 fags and case of scotch. I also wrapped it in cannabis leaves to hide the smell.
