  2. some footage of me down the woods having a little play. hills are far bigger than they look on camera! only just learnt to hop around etc so not particulary good. i think its quite cool to see all the suspension moving and technique in the slow motion shots . does not look it but the ground was wet that day haha. any tips on what i can improve on? am i riding alright? cheers ( 14 btw ) dont forgot to change it to hd or its **** quality!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KD60VlnWLLE&feature=youtu.be
  3. as for not much pressure? just an idea but maybe you have a tiny pin prick hole in your hose? a friend on a gasgas 2013 racing had the problem of not much pressure and spongy feel and little power. all turned out to be the tiniest of hole in the hose. i mean tiny... hose replaced , job done. i hope you get to the bottom of the problem! good luck
  4. yeah tht year was a weak point, after that they have made it abit stornger but it still does occur much to our annoyance !!! sometimes when the idler gets chipped if it engages to the clutch basket at a chip or at a bad angle the clutch case will flex and crack or break. this happened on our old 2011 300. ££££
  5. had so many problems with it , final straw was the top end needed to be replaced on it ( 5 months old ) hardly used like new! was going to do it but the parts took too long ( like months ) and parts supply was shocking... bought A 2012 racing gasser and cracked the frame ... ooooppss. now on a 14 racing. had no problems so far. its in another league riding wise compared to other bikes out there

  10. thought id bring this thread back to life, sold the jotagas in april for a 2012 gasser racing then cracked the frame. now on a 2014 racing 250 hope this one doesnt crack other wise it would be the third gasgas weve cracked!!
  11. its an 08 bike , the 07s had black rear mud guard. 08 where red , as for the fork... sherco had paoli at that time i think and so did betas. clamps look like old pro ones like you said on ones like the 03 bikes.

  13. hi , need to be on a 250 for my age and im on a 2012 300 right now . changing the whole barrel seems a really expensive way to go about it. not gonna sell the bike for another as this one is aswesome. can you get it sleeved down to a 250? is it possible? anyone know anyone who can do it? any other things i could do?!
  14. billyt , †here is one or two scenes without a helmet which i agree we should have worn but it was soaked in mud and water from a river... as for motorcross skills well like two or three shots? i think i rode fine and as slow as i needed to on the rocks!! why dont u stop posting negative sh*t and just get it into your head that we are young and like to have some fun on bikes ( ever come across that word "fun" ) there are no rules on what trials bikes can do are there? I do trials and ride inters perfectly fine . so what if i want to do a few jumps and have FUN. just because you never rev your p**sy beta 4t doesent mean i cant . cheer up you grumpy old man
  15. well it looks plastic and chewed up. maybe its the kickstart stop? i had one fall apart and get chewed up. it sits right at the back of the case. maybe it fell of and get stuck in the varios gears and got turned into shape like it is now?wont be water pump impeller as dont think its possible for it to come out... just a thought haha

  18. i believe the new honda has braktech brakes. they are fitted to all the new bikes as ajp went bust or something... when i had my jotagas i went through 3 whole rear brake systems becuase they all failed at both ends. i would be riding along and then would start to loose pressure and have to keep pumping the lever to get it back then suddenly it would go and not come back. you could fit an ajp system if you could find one. contact your dealer and he will sort it out. cheers

  20. i had simular problems on my jotagas except for the high revs. but mine ran fine cold but started pinking and running poorly untill she cut out. sorted bye cleaning fuel filters and carb fully twice and fresh fuel - try that and then see what happens
  21. it should have one in the tap as most ones do. theres one in the carb as well where the fuel pipe joins undo that bolt and pull the cover of.

  23. you should be alright. ^ ive ridden a beta 125 - get a gasser mate much more powerful lighter frame , suspension, all better! or if you can afford it a new jotagas 125! best bike around if i were you i would put an s3 high high ( yes double high) compression head in the 125 you get it will make it nicer to ride with you on and it will be snappier and more responsive.
