If I can get my act together I'm hopeing to have another crack at the Scott next year. I've got a 280 mitani kit on my 4rt and do notice that it runs quite hot. Do you think an oversized rad is something to consider? By the way john, I'd be very happy just to finish in time, I don't think you'll have to worry about me troubling you for standard time!!!

Warm it up, then drop the sump plug through the given hole in the bash plate. Everyone has their favourites with oil but I use ATF. Works great and is cheap to change regularly

Afternoon all. Thinking of looking for some higher bars to fit my 240. They are to fit standard size clamps. I bought a pair of renthals in the telford show last year and was led to believe they were the highest ones renthal make.
Are there any other brands out there that make higher bars? Do jitsie do higher bars? (With a brace)
One other question, need a set of domino levers. Who is cheapest?

Need to replace the front brake pads on my ty mono. What are the best pads available for a good sharp brake? A gent did tell me that there is a firm in the midlands that make very good after market pads? Can anyone help?

It was a bit ridiculous. Raga and bou are just that good but the first 4 riders May has well not bothered and watched from the sides. Don't get me wrong, they are all superb riders, no doubting that. I thought Karlson rode really well, but as has been said even Cabs and Fajaro looked hacked off!

Hello all. Off to Barcelona on Thursday for a few days to take in the sights and the indoor trial on Sunday.
A few questions: is there an enduro round on earlier in the evening?
Are there any sights to see in general and places to visit (especially for trials related stuff, museams, bike shops etc?)

The 245 engine is a 212cc. It's a type fm363. I had a oko on the other 240 engined 240 and it was pants too. I think If I could find the correct dellorto for this engine I'd go for that

Morning all.. Ive bought a fantic 240 with a 245 engine in it.. Its a tidy job, but the engine doesn't run as crisply from the bottom and I suspect its down to the sh...y oko carb on it. Ive had an oko on my other 240 and never had much success with it so went back to a new dellorto, 100% better..
Any suggestions as to what to try.. Do I go back to the proper dellorto for that engine (PHBH26?) What exactly is the correct carb for it? There are so many slighty different versions of the 26 carb? Or do I go down the keihin route? Thanks

Thinking of sliming down my 240. Are there any existing tanks that retro fit without too much alteration? I know that a chap down south will custom make one but I've heard conflicting stories about their durability???

Thank you for your replies. 2 things I should have added.
Firstly, I find myself having to keep adjusting the free play up on the lever as I ride a trial as the biting point comes in further and further.
Secondly, to get the clutch to clear fully on the lever, I had to adjust it to the point where there is no cable slack left with the lever out.
Any observations?

Hi. Still having issues with my 240 clutch. Still very vague action and drags a bit. I'm using ATF in the gearbox in the moment. Any suggestions?
Also, has anyone fitted a hydraulic clutch conversion? What are they like and when can they be bought?? Thank you ladies and gents

Evening all. Had a problem with the front brake binding on my 4rt. Brake was good but wouldn't fully release so fitted a piston repair kit and can't get it to pressurise the system at all now. No matter how much fluid I run through the system the front brake just pulls into the bar with no pressure at all..... Help!?????
