  1. I can only assume that raga and co must be feeling pretty demoralised when you consider how amazingly good the top riders in the world are and mr bou completely smashes them into next week!! I wasn't there today but it's hard to believe someone can be that much better than raga and co. Full congratulations to dibs for a fantastic ride too. More of the same please!
  2. I was going to point out exactly the same as Andy. Cabestany rode Scotland and fair play to him but was never going to threaten the winner. Similar thing to Fuji in the Scott. He was certainly moving when he thrashed past me but given his status should have won it! I think if bou and raga turned up to ride Scotland last week doug still would have beaten them, it's just not their terrain. We have to remember when doug was at his peak he was thrashing all the worlds best on there own terrain but colomer etc never beat him over here!
  3. No he's s..t! Are you kidding?????!!!!!
  4. Great job all round. All of the rides were top jobs, iwan gave them a good hiding, but I'm welsh and biased! Probably ride of the day has to be dibs, how elite are the top 4, and then Busto and co. Hopefully he can get back to where he should be featuring in the top 5 regularly. What happened to ferrer? Pune is on the road to return, but must be struggling hard down in 22nd. Come on mike, hang in there!!!
  5. Bou can surely view this as a victory because as 'good' as Cabs is his only real challenger over the course of the champs was 3rd. What happened to Pune?
  6. Ultimate respect for Martin by the current best. I suppose mr B at only 70% of his powers is still a top 4 man!!
  7. Can't the riders drop there 2 worst scores?
  8. Fair enough. But do we think there is really a market for all these models? I would have thought 2 models, one of which being the full on titanium bike, would be enough!
  9. Can someone explain to me the differences in the models. Which one is the 'repsol' model?!
  10. Well that's alright then. I thought for a minute they were going to replace bou with a half tidy rider. We have a chance!!!!!!!!!
  11. Have scanned motors tv right into next week. No sign of it!
  12. Can't find it in the listings gents? Any ideas?
  13. A friend of mine has suggested that ATF will do the job in the clutch/gearbox?
  14. Evening all. Got my 4rt on it's side and it filter out. Her indoors went to the local road bike shop and picked up a litre of oil. She came back with silkolene gear oil light sae 75. On the back it says gear oil for wet or dry clutch transmissions. Crankcase rating sae 10W/40. Is this right. Chap in shop said it was the right stuff?????
  15. Tlr's are off the scale on price, and don't really justify it. A 200 rear kick Fantic is always a good bet, or maybe a sound 240. Parts are always available for fantic's too, which is always a consideration. Ty 175's are great little bikes, but to make them ride well they need a fair bit of work which usually means dollars! Choice is yours! You won't go far wrong with a tidy Fantic
  16. Lovely job. Thanks for that
  17. As the title suggests ladies and gents. What engine oil do you use in your 4rt. Mine is an 07 and want to know what spec oil you good people use?
  18. I cut mine open a few years ago and I cut half of 1 and half of 2 and it worked great! Lee harris will be your man to ask. Dig him out on Facebook
  19. I think raga may run bou very close this year. I think he's regained that 'belief' that he can beat him. Is it unfair to suggest that if fajaro got into the top 4 he'd be doing well, bear in mind how dibs has gone backwards since riding the vertigo, maybe development took too much out of him this year. Busto and Casals will be top 5. Cabs could keep fajaro out of top 5. Fuji must be in a 'wind down' year regards world champs now. We all love him but age and injuries are taking their toll now. Lower top 10 for me Dibs around 8th, brown just outside top 10. Iwan Roberts for the junior cup Merry crimbo!!!!!!
  20. It's 99.9% about the rider I would say. A better rider will always ride the section better, regardless of bike. I had a 4rt, then 300 pro, now 4rt again. For me, they are so much nicer to own, the smile they put on your face, and the build quality is unmatched. Yes, you do go through a transitional period learning to find grip, but once you work it out your hooked! They are physically bigger and a little heavier, but it never feels heavy and tbh if I eased off the mince pies for a bit I could soon make the difference up!
  21. Hello all. I've just had a rebuilt tubeless rear wheel returned to me with the rubber band with the valve built into the band. Can anyone tell me the best way to get this band to seal into the rim. It was suggested to just use soapy water. I've also heard of various adhesive solutions to try and stick the rubber strip to the rim center. Any bright ideas please. Thankyou
  22. You should have had an email by now telling you it's been cancelled due to a waterlogged venue
  23. I don't know to be honest. But you just answered my next question, to put some mesh over the rad shroud to stop the crap getting in. I'm sure I saw that on the gasgas team bikes. Is there something better than water to put in as coolant to try and keep things cooler, neat antifreeze perhaps? Whilst I have your attention, what gearing do you run mr sunt?
