    Ossa Tr 300I

I would guess the 90 degree end piece has broken off? Have a look at a new one to see.
  6. As I replied Craig, splice into the start button, you have the live and the ground that's it. You will have the button and the lanyard next to each other.

    Yes Or No ?

Yea, strange that, the more crap the bike (say some) the better you ride it. It must be a fluke, anyone that has a rubbish ossa, always seems to ride well?? What's that saying? It must be I'm lucky, the more I ride it the luckier I become.....??
  8. If tubeless tyre, as low as 4psi, if Michelin ? If trial/trail, I guess plenty of damping wound on, ohlins have a good shock that one or two clicks makes a lot of difference, you need to try what you think is best for your weight etc. It's a crap way to do, as you will find out as you cannot get to adjusters!1 get a long ball ended 3mm Allen key. Clutch pack height is maybe off? Check it, 9.75 is about right. Get a vernier to check. 450mm is to much for that year, try 350 is about right, gro is good oil but ££, I have aftermarket oil that's works great. Strip rear suspension down and grease up with a good silicon grease as this can seize causing mega trauma! Check sealing on ecu? Not sure about ossa producing any more bikes?? Ian ??
  9. Saw the TRS at telford show, seems better in the flesh than pics show, pics seem bit bland and very staid, but when you see it seems well made and thought out. I was quiet impressed with it. I think it will shift pretty well. All depends on early reliability I guess?
  10. Margus, I think Swedish and us/uk thinking is different
  11. I thought the factory bikes had the mag cover? Yes seal it with silkaflex type sealant, maybe drill very small drain hole in bottom of case. Best fit mag one though as they look super cool!

    Ossa Future

Well, if it was me, i would read through this forum and see the audience the bike has! I looked at the OSSA Es website and saw the statement, who knows? would be good if the phoenix rises... We prob have more Ossa's than Nige Birkett!! I would not ride another marque. Ian
  13. Looks like a queen, bling ally flywheel casing, posh pegs, no paint off anywhere...and Tegi box
  14. Do we need the clutch alinement tool to fit plates or is it ok to just put it together measuring the pack height?
  15. Ours are no garage queens.... Show some in action!

    Yes Or No ?

Hi Canada, the 15 300 has std bars with 5mm risers, the White 300 has std bars, with 10 MM. Risers, I think ? I did try taller 6 inch jitsie bars but the bend was strange? Seem to come rearward somehow. Did not feel right. I like the std bars the best, the 13 bike has Sherco bars fitted, with 15mm riser. The very latest bike is very well built, and starts ace. Sounds and goes great as well. The white one was playing up on starting but changed aaa bsttery yesterday and all good now. The 13 has a ni mh large battery inside air box with switch on bars, fires up ecu and fuel pump with a right whirr! But then goes ok. I guess we like these bikes......

I have no pics, just said as I've found, wrapped pipe with wadding, and filled box with boa packing, still think std exhaust is better? Ian

    Yes Or No ?

Hi margus, I have had full termignoni on the white frame 300, but found it kept getting noisy and seems to need repacking very very often. Also it seems to make the bike pink a little under load. Lovely made and mega light though. Lot of bucks as well! I find not putting the exhaust shields on the seat unit make it more accessible around rear shock area as well. Also Xbox triple clamps give more lock. I'm running latest wheels with black hubs on the White frame now. Ian

Well again! Here's our garage! So if it's a rubbish bike (Nigel
  21. Margus, not sure what you need? Ossa hardly ever stalls? Slow tick over ? Tips reset? Hope your Mrs has a strong leg! We have a LI ion battery pack to start the 280, it can be a pig otherwise. We have a factory red coloured head on ours which lowers compression a little? Still not easy to start without battery assistance. If you look at raga etc they all have flywheel weights, but most works bikes kick ass, so have massive power to use weight. The normal rider does not need this weight, the ossa power is brill, very smooth and linear, I don't think you will gain a lot from this mod? Ian
  22. Why do you need this? Without sounding condicending, you seem to be fiddling with stuff rather than riding? I've been out this afternoon, bike shi* up but still got a ride in
  23. Each to their own, long ones for me, better all round, do not like the way the bar end is stationary at end of grip. Short throw throttle tube, no end bung and full size levers if you want to have the best controls, Ian
  24. Hi, I think you should try the very long levers, more feel and modulation, shorties were tried for a bit, but not the correct feel. Have a look at all the wtc riders, see any with short levers? Also get rid of handlebar end plugs, so you can feel all the throttle grip going round. Maybe get through some more grips but..... Regards Ian
