Its Saturday 13th March in Madrid. Should be on tv. Barcelona coverage was on the same day so maybe the same again.
-
Unfortunately not. You are limited in competitions to a 125 untill you are 17. If you are not riding competitions and just learning then I don't suppose its any harm and then get a 125. The power I am guessing on a 125 is now far superior to a tlm 200

Billy, the flywheel weight will spoil the 250. It doesnt need it. I had one on my Raga 250 and it was really flat so off it came and the bike was lovely and smooth. The 280 and 300's definitely do though. Its all about making things easier for yourself in this game!
-
Its awesome Les, I reckon you would like it! You need to get yourself to some of the Earl Shilton training days then you can have a blast on it.
-
I reckon it will run far too rich with a 38 pilot in. Remember the climate in the UK is far different to the USA. I would only go up as far as a 35 pilot and try the 122 main. That will make the top end a bit better.
-
Maybe it will be that route again to get us back home after Forest Gate then. Should be interesting. I wonder if they have got the new groups on Wednesday morning again. Thats a sod of a moor crossing but good fun. The sections are mega aswell.
-
I would say try both of them Jules. I tried a 290 and thought it was awful but then tried another and it wasnt bad but it wasn't in my opinion as good as the 250. Its all preference, when I had an 08 Rev 3 I tried the 250 and 270 and the 250 won hands down. The power delivery on the 290 is not as fierce now though. Dont just ride it round a car park either, try them on the same section and you will find what suits you.
-
Yeah the same jetting for a 250. The bikes come with a 30 pilot in standard and it doesnt like Britsh weather so needs a 33 in and it will make it run lovely.
-
Surely a stop is a stop and that is a 5 regardless of who it is. Some riders as we all know will push it that bit more but that just makes a mockery of it when joe bloggs has a good ride and has a full no stop clean then some clever sod stops and starts all the way through the section. I notice that the scores are a damn sight closer with it being no stop now though.
-
400ml and as previously stated get the bike warm going through all the gears and it will be fine. Remember to clean all the metal filing off the drain plug aswell.
-
So he didnt win the Novogar 125 class then? By all accounts still a good ride!
-
I am purely speaking from experience and it works well. Bear in mind that the original post is from the UK and the weather here is a long way different to the USA. I have never heard anybody in the UK using a 38 pilot jet.
-
I read on the twitter feed on the ssdt website that HL was doing something with the routes! Who knows! It will be a nice surprise anyway! I quite enjoyed the previous route doing Trotters last thing, at least everybody is warmed up by then, or is that knackered!
-
If its pinking at higher revs that suggests its on the main jet. It wants 122 in to run right but it should really come with that in if its UK supplied. It could well be just the needle.
-
Ive seen them on the front page. Cracking ride by Ben. Very impressive on a 125. Was it better to have a late number then? Its normally a bit of a lottery in the Wallace.
-
Apparently the land is scarred so were not going over there this year. Clunes is the one that has meall coire glas 1 & 2 on it and is up the track from the top of Forest Gate. It will be interesting how we will get back across from Creag Lundie and Forest Gate without going across that lovely moor crossing!
-
Yeah I agree they are good. There are also some awesome pegs on the Splatshop website, I have just upgraded mine and they are very good and cheaper than raptors
-
On the Sherco settings list it clearly states to have a 33 pilot jet and the mixture screw to be 3.5 turns out so I am pretty sure that what they recommend is right rather than putting a 38 pilot in and not having the mixture screw out!
-
Is Muirshearlich aka Trotters? That route doesnt sound bad. Have you any ideas where the route would go on Tuesday without the Clunes moor crossing?
-
Which carb have you got on it? If you are on the standard Dellorto carb they come with spanish jetting on the pilot. The 30 that is standard needs changing for a 33 and it will run perfect. The mixture screw needs to be between 3.5 and 4.5 turns out, just find the sweet spot and you will be fine. I have noticed that with all this rubbish cold weather mine takes a while to warm up and settle to a nice tickover. Hope this helps
-
This may be a long shot but did you check the size of the pilot jet? I reckon on a 300 it probably wants a 35 pilot in. Another more rare occurance that is possible is that the reed block rubber could have a hole in the sidewall and that will make it run really weak.
-
Just out of interest really, where are we reckoning the route will run this year? There is no visit to Clunes moor this year and I have never ridden it when we haven't gone across it! I'm sure GIZZA5 will have an idea! I for one hope that they haven't got Trotters in first thing Monday like last year! I missed the nice run over Bradileig last year on the Monday and down into Kinlochleven. I would also think its nice for the spectators having the sections fairly close together. I quite like starting with Leanachen first thing Monday, it was odd not doing it last year till Wednesday! I wonder how its going to work having the Brae in on Monday aswell! Purely boredom and speculation obviously!!

Does anybody know any more results like the novogar points scorers as most of the results previously posted are not novogar eligible
-
Try the TC classifieds, there are a few on there

I know for a fact that GGUK are having no stock of these bikes and they are pre-order only. Bear in mind that it only takes a few days to get a bike shipped over from Spain. Try ordering one and you will find out its correct info. I am a bit baffled why they have even brought it out and then the Raga will be available in May. They obviously want to ruin the second hand market. I was told that Shirty wasn't even going to bring any racing models in a few months ago but obviously somebody at GG has said he has got to.
