4rt Prep For Scottish
I was only dumb enough to carry a rucksack once. If it doesn't go in my Moose bag which doubles up as a seat or in my pockets, it isn't going. I hate riding sections with a bag on & the amount of time / energy saved not actually walking right to the End Cards of every section is significant. Don't bother with goggles either, just use a pair of safety glasses which go in the pocket when not in use. It's best to keep them in a plastic bag though as the peat acts like grinding paste & you can't see bugger all through them by midweek. Ishy is wearing his wellies & fitting an armchair to his bike this year but that's another story.

Same as with any other bike go through it from front to back & check everything, replace anything that's worn, make sure you fit a mudflap. Also ride it at least once to make sure you've put everything back together properly. Then all you have to do is let the Army fill it with gas & off you go.- Italian Lover
A virile, middle aged Italian gentlemen named Guido was relaxing at his favorite bar in Rome when he managed to attract a spectacular young blonde woman. Things progressed to the point where he led her back to his apartment and, after some small talk, they retired to his bedroom where he rattled her senseless. After a pleasant interlude he asked with a smile, "So, you finish?" She paused for a second, frowned, and replied, "No." Surprised, Guido reached for her and the rattling resumed. This time she thrashed about wildly and there were screams of passion. The sex finally ends and, again, Guido smiles and asks, "You finish?" Again, after a short pause, she returns his smile, cuddles closer to him and softly says, "No." Stunned, but damned if he was going to leave this woman unsatisfied, Guido reaches for the woman yet again. Using the last of his strength, he barely manages it, but they end together screaming, bucking, clawing and ripping the bed sheets. Exhausted, Guido falls onto his back, gasping Barely able to turn his head, he looks into her eyes, smiles proudly and asked again, "You finish?" Barely able to speak, the beautiful blonde whispers in his ear, "No, I Norwegian."- Betting On The Wtc

We rode in 2001 & 2002, so things may have changed. Perhaps Carlas can answer that? I'd say the easy route was fairly steady, harder than RMC's C route at our National but certainly not as tough as what I put on for the B's last year. Middle route would be fairly similar to our B route from last year, perhaps a little harder. I remember a mega drop off in one section that a lunatic chasing me with a big knife wouldn't have made me go off. Everything is big , very grippy unless of course it snows. As far as I know you are allowed a bike to mind with, it would be impossible to walk round the route. Accommodation is difficult to organise, we managed to rent a flat in the village. There's several restaurants in the village but certainly don't expect burger & chips. On the whole it was a brilliant Trial, professionally run. If it wasn't so near to SSDT time I'd certainly go back.- Ian Pollock Memorial Trial.

RMC will then publish a list of those lucky enough to have obtained a ride. Please do not phone the secretary checking to see if you've got a ride, it'll only slow things down! Entry full in a nadge over 38 hours.- Ey Up You Two
I've been thinking. We should do the SSDT & get sponsored for charity. Ishy & me could do it on a sections cleaned basis & Kinnel could do it on a sections found basis. What you think lads? - 4rt Prep For Scottish
