world round japan
What do you want to know? It's at the Honda complex at the Motegi ring. You fly into Tokyo Narita and it's then about 2 hours in a taxi/bus to the complex. Once at the complex there is virtually nothing to do except spend half a day at the Honda museum and of course the Trial itself. There is only one hotel. It's very expensive and totally sterile. There's nothing to do so everybody congregates in reception for the free wi-fi. The Trial itself is okay, but nothing spectacular. It has a tendency to rain and I mean REALLY rain. The organisers are very officious to the point of being rude. If you're thinking of a trip to a world round I'd suggest one of the European ones instead. At least in Europe you can hire a car and understand the road signs Been once and no desire to ever go back (are you reading this Mr. Miller?!)

Long Shot - Custom Doors
I know this is a long shot, but you never know who knows who out there... I'm looking to have the storm doors on my house replaced. As can be seen they're a wee bit past their best... Got a quote from one company... American White Oak £4,720 + vat. Alternatively doors all as above but Hardwood Maranti £2.630 + vat. Alternatively doors all as above but Douglas Fir £3,420 + vat. Just about had a bloody heart attack

Merlin/ Cagiva DG350 sidepanels
I have absolutely no problem with "group buys". In fact I've suggested it on here before as I know it's popular on the various Subaru forums I frequent. The more that buy, the better the price you'll get them for. Simples

IMPORTANT: TC News Changes
We will shortly be making some changes to the News System on Trials Central and the way we handle news. Because of this we have stopped taking new registrations for Clubs/Organisations to post their own news on TC. Any Club/Organisation wishing News/Results posted should, for now, email content to news@trialscentral.com and we will post on your behalf. This includes attachments of results files/photos etc. Those clubs/Organisations currently registered to post news themselves can either continue to do so or can submit via email to the same address. NOTE: The event calendar is NOT currently affected by this. Clubs should continue to post events as normal. However, as the calendar may also be reviewed we would suggest only adding events up to the end of April until further notice.

Where's Kinell?
Spoke to Brian just before Christmas. He's given up Trials completely. Sold his bike to pay for the final part of his gender realignment (it's expensive to get your tallywhacker chopped off apparently) and is now living in Brighton with a Bricklayer named Trevor.

BTW, why do you say you'll be watching it online because "it's not on TV in the UK" when your profile says you are in Australia and your IP Address indicates you're in India? Are the FIM paying Indian spammers now?

Interesting development, but sadly not free! 3 Euros for a day pass which I guess isn't a large amount, but it depends on the quality of video and how well the streaming works. Guess they've got to pay for Mr. Willoughby's new first class caviar and champagne lifestyle somehow!
