Over 50
I will be an OAP in a few weeks been riding a 200 beta for the past year or so and am very impressed rides like a 125 but with almost 250 like power find it a lot less tiring to ride than my old 250 (important at my age) and capable of more than I am!

Moving From 80 To 125
have to agree have (mostly) rode Bultaco's and Beta's with left hand kickstart for the last 40 odd years but also ride a yam and beta Alp and can honestly say I never notice which leg I am using! ( yes the Alp also has electric start, but after a while of not using I tend to kick over a few times to prime oil/fuel)

as someone who has been riding for nearly 50 yearsand had many bikes in that time I would say, always have the newest bike you can afford, a new bike always seems to give better results, mostly psychological I believe but still noticable....wel thats my excuse!

Climber 280 - Woodruff Key In The Oil
if you have (or can borrow)an impact wrench, you can remove a clutch centre nut simply by holding the centre with a gloved hand! other wise you need a holding tool like a plain clutch plate with a handle welded on (can be bought or home made)I have no experience of rotax engines so I am assuming the clutch is similar to most others

Hydraulics, Do We Need Them?
love disc brakes, but could happily live with cable clutch, think they were for the people who caned the clutch so much the adjustment went (originally)

Premix Ratio For 98 Tx270?
same amount through jets, petrol vaporised and most oil deposited on bearings in crankcase, thats what its for, then smaller amount of petrol vapour up transfer ports to combustion chamber, thats what I have been told
-
Premix Ratio For 98 Tx270?
I agree with above (60 70 or even 75:1) but remember this is with a good quality synthetic, as for damage its worth bearing in mind a rich oil mix means less petrol so the engine can actually run weak with associated problems
