Hey Steve, You gonna ride that around on the Saturday if you get one & give us a little bit of a chance? I know one of the guys in the club bought a ty80 last year off Chris Wilson......I was thinking about it but my lil'uns about another 5 years away from riding yet. Could ask him if he's wanting to sell it if you like.....needs a little work though I think.

Eric the Sammy Miller pegs lower them anyways? Or do you want them even Lower? Thanks for your replies guys. We've got the Sammy Miller pegs & the Falcon shocks on order. Let you know in a month how it worked out. Taff
  4. GII, I was looking at importing a Land Rover 110 into Canada for the same reason. Right now I have a Toyota 4Runner (No the bike won't fit in the back). Pick ups are great trucks but if you put a canopy on the back bed again you're lost for head room for both bike & rider. If you're not looking for comfort but decent 4x4 & room to change, carry a bike & even sleep the Rover 110 is the dogs danglies.
  5. Good idea JTT. How about changing the hot dogs to cans of Canadian? Not that Coors Light P!$$. See why they call it Silver bullet........Goes through you just as fast . Taff Oh Steve this could get scary

Beta boy's right there're Hebo pegs, I just put thm on my 04 Rev3. A mate of mine has ordered Sammy Miller pegs that come with hangers that re-position the pegs down & more toward the rear.

  9. Well seeing as there's two weekends on our side of the country may as well make a holiday out of it.......... Gonna ride the first four
  10. Paul I e-mailed Ishy & asked the same question. He said the cheapest way is to buy a new one but pick it up over there then get the factory to ship it back over...........or rent one approx GBP1000 ($2300). I was hoping to do it next year depending on finances. Are you going to Fracy's outlaw at the beginning of April? Taff

Hey guys, A mate of mine has a TY 175 twinshock & wants to do some mods. It has to stay twinshock so we can still ride in the vintage class. Has anyone out there changed stuff like foot peg positions, steering angles, length of swing arms etc? I'm pretty new to vintage stuff (modifying them anyway) but any suggestions would be appreciated. He's already done the exhaust packing mod & taken off the auto oil feed to gain a few more bhp. Thanks Taff

I just took an angle grinder to my 95 Techno's kick starter after I was sliding off it when wet. tapered the end out & made sure that I did it so that when close to the bottom there was a knob cut out at the end so that my foot wouldn't come off when at max pressure. Hope this sounds right. Or just get a 04 Rev3 like me & don't have these problems Taff
