Hi, i have just bought a Suzuki RM50T 1980 twin shock mx bike to do up as a winter project . The bike in general is in outstanding condition for its year, but needs a seat cover. is anyone aware of where i can get such an item, i would be willing to buy a complete seat if one came up. cheers

Knighters hand was wrecked well before the start of the GNCC season, He did it whilst out practicing before the Le Toqueut (SP?) and has already spent time in an oxygen tent but maybe he can get a group discount with Colley!! In answer to the original question what do you think of Top Gear, quality mate quality!!, i eventually got round to watching this weeks programme and woke one of my sons up i was laughing that loud!!! it should be on later to allow more risque behaviour!! Apart from Skins (e4) it is about the only thing worth watching on telly at the mo'!! p.s TG deserves an award for the tv programme with the most prolific use of the word "cock" as an insult!!

Hi Lewis, hope you are pleased with the new bike!!, the only mods i can think of is to fit decent footpegs, as nice as the stock items are they are a wee bit fragile!. Grease around the top of the airbox and rear mudguard where they mate up leaving just the front portion clear where the tank fits, this stops water getting into the airbox, unless you submerge it! I would also recommend an NGK Iridium spark plug, i fitted one of these two years ago( or whenever i bought the bike ) and have never even had to remove it to clean it never mind replace it, iridium plugs is the place i have used before. Do you mean the whole kit or just disc, the guys on trials forum really rate the AVID BB7 Supposedly less hassle than Magura's and the like with equal performance (virtually)

I have been offered a TL125 for 400 quid i believe it is 1974 ish are they worth this?, or to put it another way what kind of condition should it be in for this kind of money? I know its a diificult question to answer but the bike is quite a drive away,so just need some rough pointers to start with, standard colours round this era etc.

Not a 4 stroke it wont, they run a much hotter front pipe than a 2t.
