  1. Must admit when I bought my 04 rev 3 I paid 1400 and a ok condition `97 scorpa easy I think if i went too a dealer with the same easy now he`d laugh me all the way back home!
  2. I had a similar problem but not quite as bad when I bent my gear lever so bad I couldn`t move it too change from 1st! bloody miles away from any tools so glad I had at least some engine power mind all up hill and horizontal rain! when I got too the car I could only just see it as we apparently parked in a cloud!
  3. Ok I`ll let you in on a little "mistake" one trial not all that long ago we had a two hour practice session before hand, and was a fantastic venue nice little stream and a bit further up some nice woody hill sections, anyway in the two hour practice R2w, myself and few others were playing about in the stream area a few little jumps as can be found HERE and a nice twisted step up out of the river HERE and then after everything was going so well R2w pointed me at this big green step out of the stream i`d say was about five foot? as everything was going so well I thought ah what the hell.... Well I know a few of you have seen THIS image before! ended up being turned into part of the experts route so that made me happier That was the end of the play session and the trial started. We were in a little group of about 5-6 of us and were last too head off section 1 was fine section 2 not bad think a 2 or a 3 but there was this step i`d seen the youngsters (very very good youngsters i`ll add heres one of them on said step Here ) playing before hand so I thought what the hell (mid trial mind!) result my bike went round the two trees you see on the right solo and I was hanging upside down by my leg from a tree too the left and had too make a major pit stop broken throttle tube, brake lever and another set of bent bars oh and a snapped rear mudguard. and about 4 sections too catch up on resulting in far too many points! Still was a very fun day
  4. Nope not me no pain or any stories ever from us lot
  5. Nice little unicycle trials clip Youtube we love you worth watching too the end too see a little carnage!
  6. Happy birthday Jack hope its been a good `un
  7. This is the best place I could think of putting this? if i`m wrong sorry Right then anyone know of somewere too get a decent set of rear sprocket nuts and bolts for a rev 3? all the ones i`ve come across on ebay seem too be of the countersunk variety. And I don`t really want too buy standard as they are made of what I can only describe as toffee.
  8. i`ve heard it up close and even flying past me up a fair size climb, Steve said it can`t get any louder than it was then as he had it wide open. really surprisingly quiet ESPECIALLY compared too the 4RT a humm rather than a loud bark I suppose
  9. haha nice sig there slapshot Yeah Lampkins will have em and are very very good with delivery usually next day if you ring em early enough contact details can be found Here
  10. Fair play Just you`ve won something at least it can`t of been as bad as you told me! you described it as if you paddled through the lot!
  11. I thought it looked a bit old fashiony at first glimpse but its growing on me I guess! Think the one peicer looks better than the seperates but i`m buggered if i`m ever getting in one of they Here it is for those that haven`t seen it CLICK ME
  12. Well finally got the buggers out! little bit of blood and a fair bit of swearing involved! Question is who makes or sells decent quality sprocket nuts and bolts? as what with the incredible strength thread lock and the "top" quality toffee used for the nuts and bolts there is no chance i`m putting them back in even if I could! I`ve had a quick search but all I can find is countersunk ones and they are in sets of 6? is this just Beta being awkward and differnt or am I just searching in the wrong places?
  13. I wish the bloody rear sprocket bolts would come undone so easy! but keep an eye on the top shock mount bolt and the frame strut bolts too these are my worst ones If you pour boiling water on the sprocket bolt nuts this softens up the threadlock and they will come out more easily! Top man I`ll give that a try if the GT85 hasn`t done the trick. Thanks
  14. I didn`t think you were riding at the moment? But I will be at some time soon I want too have a look at this place of yours plus I hear its getting some changes soon?
  15. I have done a bit of editing and now agree with your comment barry SHERCO
  16. I`m looking for the smillie of someone throwing up! Sherco I ask you! But I really hope that video has the flattened by camera effect as it really don`t look that big!

  18. Had thought of it but just buying the above sprocket was much easier I chose the colour being black i`m sure they would of done other colours, did try too get them too engrave my name into it but they would only do that if I were too buy 50+ too cover the set up fees!!!! Being an ex CNC machinist I find that difficult too swallow buy hey! Finger is super fantastic now ta just started being able too use my left hand again and can get it wet at last! not long now and i`ll be back on the bike
  19. Lewis yep one of the holes in the inner sprocket. Martin Yep sure is! thats my new `special` chopping board (it is fake blood) Dixie thought about it and used too own one but really think it through, it`d make a horrible mangled mess!
  20. If that happpens i`m really really unlucky and will propbably die next time I cross the road!!!! But on a serious note I just wanted too eliminate the possibility of the same thing happening twice, as that would really irritate me
  21. After a long think I got in contact with a Justine Richards at Talon Engineering too discuss what they could do for me too help me remove all fear of another digit incident. It may look simple but I reckon it`ll be the buisiness. Many thanks again too Justine and the team at Talon for all there help
  22. Fair enough but I also know a few people that use Repsol and have no issues with it? plus like I said before I used too get TTS very very cheap (if not free) but now I don`t i`d rather give less of my hard earned away and too a decent dealership
