  1. Just put some new neoprene stuff on the Beta and it is 6mm would guess it too be a standard size throughout
  2. Sounds like a plan off out too take mine out now
  3. Well I think this is more at home here rather than adding it too that MASSIVE post! But had the news today that another op is required definatley but it is such that they only have one shot at it otherwise we`re in lots more trouble so the current wound has too be in optimum condition as far as swelling and inflamation goes. So next appointment is in 2 weeks time which is the surgeons estimated time for it being ready too operate or there abouts, then the operation itself is somewhat more complex than the first involving more bone being cut back and a skin flap taken from the inside of my finger. All just sounds like pain too me! And then of course the healing process starts all over! Which if the last period of healing is anything too go by will be 4-5 weeks. Still was about too book a weeks holiday just before I done this plus I should miss a fair bit of this cold weather riding. And i`m now getting a little too re acustomed too
  4. I`d suggest giving the carby a good overhaul could be a little bit of dirt in a jet, check all rubbers are in good condition not split and all are correctly fitted as someone else mentioned clean filter and air box, check spark, if all still fails try discontecting the kill switch? if all that fails do this

    De - Coke

Last time I bought some it was from a local hardware store but thats all the way over here in Blighty I`d only guess it`d be the same over there? used too come in a box as powder form. But as I say it`s been a long while since I bought any! got good old caustic tanks at work now but they are a little more agressive!

Sounds just like what someone else above said?
  7. Now i`ve never tried these but 661 in general have provided me with excellent quality products for years and for a waterproof glove these are a great price clicky and they certainley look too thick That site also has the sealskins stuff which seems too get a better rating though? but either should be good Last edit now but had another look on there and these have a 5/5 rating
  8. I`m 100% for the idea on the basis it costs the same rides the same and lasts the same as my Beta Just think of the land we could use on these things!
  9. I heard it was the house husbands too ... i bet that was the singleton Barry that told you that he likes to deflect the suspicion.... Well there`s a good case of paranoya (sp?) Haven`t spoken too Atom for a while now Plus it was only the other day I was telling you I get a free sheep with my new house! who`s single now
  10. Hmm wonder how many people agree with us all on that one! just had too bite my tongue on another forum further up!
  11. ... you mean " skillfull rider who rarely falls off" surely :) You say Skill I say big girls blouse I really should be quiet as i`m gonna be riding like even more of an idiot when I get back too it!
  12. The amount of abuse I get I find it much easier just too take it full on! plus i`m sure BarryBaines is becoming a household name amongst those that like crashes and pain! I must say though it really is a hard one too dispute/discuss as I agree on most comments like it adds a bit of character. BUT there are the odd few who seem too use there forum names as a mask/shield too hide behind. I think that these are very few and far between which is a massive credit too the forum/site/members etc. etc. So do we all need first name basis? I`d lean towards not, as i`m sure the odd few that do our heads in from time too time are either doing it un-intentially or will sure enough get fed up with being ignored when they request any help with anything?
  13. They screw into the lever and are there for quick easy adjustments, admitadly i`ve bent one but too do this I first had too snap my lever smash my twist grip too pieces and bend my bars Shame i`ve always had great stuff from them pegs levers etc although I don`t have an 06 so can`t speak for the `new` style levers? r2w has some but he`s too much of a wuss too need to use them yet!
  14. I`ll buy one or many good xmas presents
  15. You could get them from trialsphotos Snap
  16. I`ve bent and rebent one till it fell apart and I lost the end bit but I agree fully with sideup in its better too bend the lever than the shaft! I was lucky enough too find another slightly bent lever from a generous donation and gently re-bent this one and it`s going fine. And mine gets a fair bash from time too time, I will happily re-bend this one untill it too completely fails me. I have seen the odd one or two go on ebay but they seem too fetch nearly
  17. Oooh just come across a new part of the trialcast site Accessories and it looks like they are branching out a little so for those of you that aren`t as much of a cheapskate as me and would like a nice bit of bling (useful bling i`ll add) I`d say Trialcast has been one of the best companys i`ve dealt with go forth and buy great christmas idea too?
  18. A nice little easy too use survey too.
  19. Here but beware he`s a bit of an odd ball
  20. Have you ever considered adopting another son?
  21. Bloody hell! no wonder the guy at the shop I bought mine from was getting fed up with me! I bought a two year old bike from a dealer got a great price and spent the day there pretty much making SURE I wouldn`t ever need too go back too him for any upsetting reasons ( was about an hour journey) We both agreed on some very satisfying terms and warrantys that were signed and agreed. Like I said I would rather spend a day there making sure knowing that he is a good dealer for future referance etc. than getting home pee`d right off. I understand you`re circumstances being differnt as in you have a new bike, but like someone else mentions by law every vehicle has to pass a PDI, I even had too wait two days for my latest push bike due too this! There is no way in the world if I bought a new bike that started weeing gearbox fluid that i`d touch it mechanicly it`d be straight back needing a writen explanation on how this could of happened
  22. i`m also fairly new too the trials scene ( less than a year ) and still real cr^p as you`ll learn from here so take my advice with a pinch of salt. But the honest truth is................. Time on the bike! The bonus is, if you can find it (I did off here believe it or not) Time on the bike with people that have more experiance than you. This can also be done purely through you`re local trials
  23. Jesus!! is he a cat or something? landed on his feet! And whats this rubbish about since I packed in riding? thats not allowed
  24. I work in the Precision foundry at the wonderful Rolls-Royce in the prep/clean cell Which is basically from post cast too polish I am good at making it sound pretty dull but it really is quite interesting, we`re even getting a new
