Isnt marc frexia supposed to be riding one there??
  2. You need blue wheels with the edges polished off!! Lovely bike. Swingarm looks lovely and you have fatbars like me! The plate on the front is a plastic mud protector dooberry, i have one on my beta but it melted
  3. Hey barry have you got a new bike or do you just like betas because your avatars changed???
  4. essex rider replied to yacapo's topic in Montesa
Check the linkage for the rear shock
  5. get a gas mig welder as these tend not to spatter after a lot of welding as for wire thickness i think all you need are different size nose bits and you can run most wire sizes and types. You dont need different attatchments for different materials as far as i know

  7. Is there free play in the lever because if there isnt this may make the clutch stiff. Also is the bolt holding the lever on too tight?? Just a few simple things that might work before you start taking the clutch apart
  8. I will admit that the riding styles are completely different, betas arent as easy to flick about but being able to do it on a beta makes gas gas too easy and i always go too far usually resulting in a crash! The weight makes the flywheel heavier so it doesnt spin fast in low revs so less wheelspin
  9. The one on my beta looks pretty simple to do. You could always save yourself the hassle and buy a beta with the weight already fitted???
  10. DONT WORRY THERES A CURE!!!
  11. A nature reserve where people arent even allowed to walk, but SHHHHHHH I dont want anyone knowing. Its not really strange, just illegal Ive ridden over a pile of horse poo and straw because there was a good step into it Made of breezeblock with a nice kicker into it

The ones on BVM are the jitsie ones. Ebay sometimes has a few on. If not there are the plastic ones on sammy millers or gasgas shop.co.uk

Just write in "fatbar" then "fat bar" if no results come up. I didnt try this one but im sure it will find something "oversize bar adaptors" or something along these lines. Bars from Dirtbike express. Copper, enduro bend.

The pink fur is there so my cables dont rub on the bars. I'll make a better one (pink of course) tomorrow!! They make the bike so much easier to handle, balancing feels a little odd but ill get used to that

Heres a few pics of my fatbars on the beta, cost
  18. Dont let stuhrc see this because the monts arent heavier than betas (73KG) Are the new monts (2006) lighter than the previous year????
  19. its CHEAP!!! Value for money Magners is also quite tasty
  20. is the sump guard on that bike thinner?? only the left side looks a bit vulnerable.
  21. Mike at moto merlin can get hold of most things and has an ebay shop with lots of things you are likely to need.
  22. I always switch the petrol off and leave running until it near enough stops. This way the bike cant be flooded. If it does this again take the spark plug out and leave for a bit so petrol can evaporate. Also if you havent done the carb mod then lean to the left and let a little petrol run out just so you dont flood your engine. As for the spluttering when you ride off, my bike used to do that but i mixed the petrol weaker and it is fine now. Hope this helps Chris
  23. Sorry Stuhrc Ive only heard they are a lot heavier not knowing that they arent!! For a begginer like me ill struggle at first (i do on a 2t) But i would much prefer a 4t, especially the no mixing issue as i always worry i havent mixed the fuel etc.
  24. I would really like to have a 4t yet cant afford one as cheapest ive seen second hand was
