As with many things prices have slowed up, not such a bad thing unless you have recently built one no expense spared and want to shift it. Be interesting to see what truly shifts at Telford, not just has big price tags, a price tag doesn't mean a sale.

I will have to take a pic,not got one of that side, can't take it until Saturday as I am out at 7am and back at 5pm (dark) and bike is buried in garden shed under loads of stuff, but will do it.
It keeps going to the back of the queue,

Did I read some where that there is/was a list of frames that were modified. Register of numbers?? (How many) Most if not all bikes that have sold or people have tried to sell recently have been Goddens.
-
Apparently ts genuine pistons are thin on the ground now, pattern are about, Wiseco etc (pricey) the Rex C piston has the ring pegs in the same position as the BSA piston as well as correct small end size. On the box it says "modified TS piston" Just bought one and had bore done 186cc.

Be interesting to see the price tags on them at Telford, everything else seems to have taken a pasting lately price wise and a few seem to be sticking around.
-
This is the cut/weld under the tank, no doubt this frame is a genuine early one.
And this is the shock mod.
As Woody says the weld under the tank is not as tidy as the others, maybe as it's out of sight ??
-
If you have fitted both coils properly and all wiring is good the kill switch may be playing up, have you tried new plug and cap??
-
iF YOU ARE HAVING SPARK PROBLEMS IT'S PROBABLY TIME TO CHANGE BOTH COILS, source and HT. tHERE IS A LATER TYPE OF ht AVAILABLE AND THE SOURCE COILS ARE AVAILABLE FROM bOB wRIGHT. Changed mine made a world of difference. We forget these bikes are over 30 yrs old now,

It is a copy of a painting of a famous person or painted by a famous artist but we don't know who, any ideas ??

Good to see Adolfs on a Bantam..... 3 speed I hope.. maybe luck will be on his side next year
-
Spoke to him about something else at a bmca do, not the tanks. It is his bike in the pic.
-
Only bike I remember with a 23" front wheel was the Honda XL250S. May be a Honda wheel?? many owners re spoked to 21 so as they could find decent tyres.
-
Has anyone here got the dimensions of the BSA Bantam pear shaped (holtworks type) fuel tank. They have some dimensions on their site but not the Bantam, something like this.....

Lot in construction working for rates that were around 5 to 10yrs ago, everything else seems to go up except the wages. We will be in this position for years to come. No one has the answer, money is very tight.
