I observed a BMCA trial a few weeks ago and realised they don't all wear helmets before hand but I wouldn't risk it. If a bad accident happened I dare say the rules would change after the horse etc etc.

Had it made by a frame builder who makes new frames, but I had my main frame loop modified as well.
Charlie and OTF Re forks..... Don't ask...

The re positioning of the rear s/frame mount turns the cradle forward which slightly steepens the angle, apparently a lot of Bantams end up too short if done wrong. I am going to use leading axle forks which helps also.

Yea the scorpa was such a success the company went pop
The 125 didn't bust them, if it did Gas Gas wouldn't be entering the market. They never had a mountain of unsold 125s, the 200s sold well and hold their values s/hand. They were caught up in a world recession obviously a weaker player.
That crap 125...

Remove the long ride cr4p and it's a good little bike...

Doesn't need updating every 5 minutes unlike the raga and will sell itself if priced right as the Scorpa did.

Not wanting to go off on a tangent here but it is getting harder to get a lot of this sort of work done, and a lot of it is being done by blokes either semi retired or close to it. No one to take their place. Was trying to help Pitley get a rebore, can't get it on our door step. What the future holds for these older bikes is frightening. Sorry I had to have a whinge there.....

A common mod on the Bantam is to fit a crank weight usually brass, I am going to build a B175 engine which apparently has a heavier crank, does anyone know if, a. the weight is needed / used and b. who makes the weights. Thanks.

Just wondering if anyone on here will be riding the BMCA trial on Sunday at Bowley, Herefordshire. (The waterfall) Excellent venue if you have never been there, well worth a look.
I will be observing as my Bantam project isn't ready and I need to see what the BMCA do's are all about.
If you need more info look here...
