It's a bit like the "thanks" button on money saving expert site, if people agree they can thank. This differs if people think you're talking crap you get a - I suppose .. Note to Andy, turn it off it's nonsense, like that facebook, it'll never catch on.....

On a Mick Andrews video I think made after that date he rides an obstacle on a TLR200 and says a bike like it can be bought for around

I have been informed it's a Mini Majesty....

Does anyone know which late kick start is used/ modified for use on a Bantam. I have seen a few with neat alloy k/starts. Also is there some one doing the mod ?? Thanks.
-
That'll be the "Old" in O T F.....

I too am in the process of gathering together parts to build a Bantam although it is a later D14. I doubt many of the Bantams in this years Scottish are D7s, more likely 14s. Everyone advises me to stick with 14 parts due to 4 speed box and apparently higher revving etc. Rex Caunt is your man to speak to re tuning them, he supplies pistons ignitions etc and a better cyl head etc.....

Does anyone know of an insurer who will insure a bike on the frame number for a short period to register the bike. When it is registered I will be able to put on a classic policy with other bikes but they will not insure on the frame number only. I know C Nash will do it on the frame number but I don't want a 12 month policy with them. Thanks...

Just done some trawling, there is a Martini XS1100 parked behind her. This is supposed to be 77, the Martini XS never came out until 79.
-
When I looked at the bike I noticed the tank was not the one they were referring to. No joy on who the wench is yet ??

In the latest CDB there is the following pic of an early Yamaha framed Majesty. The topic came up at a trial on Sunday, not so much about the bike, who is the model on the bike??

Fantics have been like buses this weekend, you don't see any for sale then there are 3 on the for sale board on here at once. There are a lot of Hondas and Majestys out there built well, best of everything lots of bling and never used, pointless really.

Someone's been busy on the front pipe with the welder. I am sure you can buy them bends in stainless, it's dairy pipe. (I think).
It's not a TY head, may be YZ/DT ??
-
So does that make a pre Godden modified early Yam framed bike worth more then????
-
I wonder who's stand it will be on ????
-
What about the Matey donors ??? Has that gone on the back burner ?????

A tidy bike with a "new replica" frame had a sold sign on at Telford for 7.5k.

Trouble is if it is used for a year it then becomes another used SWM but probably has lots of trouble free years, if it is purchased and used as an ornament then it is a waste of time. Interesting to see what the 7.5k Majesty and the 10k James are worth in reality after a few trials.
There is no logic at what some people will shell out it seems, they either buy a bag of nails and don't do their home work regarding restoration costs or pay big money for show pieces.
We went on Sunday so missed all the rarities ??
