  1. Looks like an early spec bike with Hydraulic clutch conversion. Also will possibly be a 143 cc. I would say it would be worth offering 1200.
  2. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Scorpa-4rt-175cc-2005-trials-bike-great-condition-/110718856944?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item19c75baef0#ht_1044wt_698
  3. Woody you need to find the website the pics may be posted on. Can't be many sites dedicated to walking through the country side??
  4. Sounds like a little boost fwiw for the local economy. Pity we didn't take the same stance with migrants.
  5. I have a 125. What I can tell you is the Tys are cable clutch and Sy's are hydraulic clutch and have slightly better forks. Don't think the shock is different though. Also heard that some people get on better with the 125?? Depends on what your level is etc etc. The 143 is an overbored 125(18cc) and the 175 is a different crank case etc. Cracking little bike with a few tweeks....
  6. Maybe this, http://www.electrexworld.co.uk/stk-175-stator-kit-9528-0.html
  7. Just wondering if anyone is using any after market ignition other than the popular PVL on a Bantam 175 and if so any advantages (other than price) Thanks in advance.

    Fantic 200

Are they 35 / 47 / 10 ?? Local bike shop keeps all sizes ?? forks weeping on the Fantic.
  9. Hi Jenny. On the tlr it's a good idea to lower the pegs it gives a better riding position, as you have already painted the frame this kit is available but you still need the pegs, I use Hebo pegs but others are available. http://tyoffroad.webeden.co.uk/#/footrests/4532189376
  10. I'd clean it all as you have done, make sure nothing has come adrift to cause any damage and try the gears with the case fitted etc. Very rare these parts will wear, may just be a one off?
  11. I haven't seen it nor interested in this sort of tv, but I wouldn't hold your breath as the audience will be on to the next "big thing" soon, their appetite is not for the sport in any shape or form, they probably don't even know it exists same goes for the shows organisers if they are referring to the bikes as stunt bikes. Clueless...
  12. You need to remove the clutch cover and clutch and see if you can go through the gears with the selector drum by hand, if it does the same thing then it is likely selector problems, then a motor split job.....
  13. Could be gear selector shaft return spring, if when you select up to 2nd then if you return it down by hand then select up again for 3rd does it work ?? When you have selected 2nd does it return back down as normal, if not possibly spring?? I don't know whether it is a motor split job if it is spring or the spring may be behind the clutch on the selector shaft ?? If it is it's a straight forward job, someone else should know. Only ever done top end work on TLRs.

    Silver Dream Machine

Excellent work Jenny. You were lucky to find the front end, they are hard to come by. Colour combo looks good too....

  16. If you have the reg number Yamaha may be able to confirm it for you before you pay DVLA. Yam used to supply dating letters and were very helpful, it may not still be on their records but worth a call. If not just fill in the req'd form and send your
  17. You may if lucky get a Scorpa 125 / sy/tys 4t for just over 1k, they hold their price as well. Excellent if you are new to trials. But unlike other bikes mentioned here they are not in huge supply and most people hang on to them...

    Yamaha Xty225

On the home straight now Jon, 3 years in the making.......
  19. Stick to airbox if you can, K & Ns require jetting, more so for top end but pilot may need increasing as well as needle raising. Someone else will know more about availability of airboxes for Bultacos, you can always get one made up in ally ?? Cone filter would be a last resort .
  20. Someone likes it, it's sold...
  21. I was referring to the b i n price of 2k +. A sorted but not blinged Tlr can be bought for under 2k. Many of the Tlr's are sorted and blinged and show pieces instead of being ridden.
  22. Trouble is it's like anything, by the time you factor in the cost to do all the work that has been done whether you like it or not it's an expensive job when you add up the wheel building painting etc etc . It looks to be done well but you could get a sorted TLR200 for that money, probably not as shiney mind you.

  24. You will get one a lot cheaper than a twinshock tlr, I have never seen one at a trial, was offered one once. There are a couple about converted for t/shock trials. If you trawl the link I posted they are common for trail riding..... Serows are good though.
