It was my 1st proper ride on the Fantic as the 1st time out I lost the sparks. I need to do a few tweaks but nothing too serious. Slow throttle, big pegs etc. I was making some silly mistakes in the beginning but got used to it.(first trial on a 2t)
-
Nice job, I am trying one at the moment. What did you do re the footpeg position, are they lowered or just welded new brackets for the big pegs. I have still got the std pegs and can't decide whether they want lowering, I do need big pegs though. Thanks.....

Has anyone changed fork seals on the 125 Scorpa? it is the TYS with cable clutch,is it straight forward to do, can I just pull the bottoms off in situ without removing the whole leg from the yokes ?? Thanks. I believe they are different forks to the hyd clutch bikes.
-
All ohms readings are good. I will try a new h t coil from Steve Goode, there's a upgraded one for the Fantics apparently.
-
Did this ever get sorted?? I have a similar problem. Where are the Fanic lads when you need them???
-
I have obtained another coil to try off a 125 fantic that is currently stripped, I don't know if it is a good one though. It is slightly different to the coil on my 200, it is a Dansi with 3 screw terminals. I don't have the 3 screw terminals on my coil it has 3 wires but is sealed on the end (metal coil, no name on it)?? I wired it black/earth and then tried the green and reds either way round as I don't know the correct way. On the 2 terminals there are a "c" and I think a "G". ??? No spark either way round. Not got a multi meter yet to try??
-
I am trying a Fantic 200 t/s out . I lost the sparks today, then it fired and then stopped again a couple of times. I disconnected the kill button and checked connectors. Now there is no spark. Electrics are not my strong point. I was wondering if there is anything on the 200 twin shock that plays up?? It was a pig to start at one point and then got worse. Thanks.
PS Thanks to Jon V8 off here for towing me back to the car park today...
-
Carole Nash I believe. They give you a certain time to sort the registration out.
-
How do you extend the clutch arm with the link?? Also some say move the pegs and some say not?? Do you think it makes much difference ??
-
Any up dates on this?? how are you getting on with it?? I bought one today, seems bog std. Not sure whether the pegs need moving yet, they want changing for hebos though, some say leave them others say move them?? I will try higher bars first as I have low bars, then see how I get on ?? Anything else ??

As Pete said, it won't happen. If there is concrete evidence with no shadow of a doubt like the Brands incident they may get involved. If you see some idiot thrashing a stolen bike round a sink estate and tip off the Bill then they may send some one round in a week or two if pushed, in the mean time said bike has been blown up burnt and is now in the river...... Don't hold your breath

A load of dodgy bikes and engines were recently found at a Brands Hatch road race meeting, easier to trace as they came from bikes once reg'd on the road. Trials not as easy as many are never reg'd.
Mind you a helicopter and around 50 coppers turned up at Brands after a lengthy investigation, I would be surprised if you would find 1 bike at 50 trials, in the main people who nick trials bikes are not trials riders they are joy riders wanting a trials bike or chancers trying to make a quick few quid.
Probably too much admin for the acu to be involved unless of course there is a sudden surge in thefts maybe ??
