Ive heard a few of those before but the best one Ive had so far... While doing a memory test with a rather deaf patient I asked if he could remember 42 West street for me and I would ask him to repeat it to me later. To which he replied: "Who's 42 next week?"

I think what usually happens is if you have people with you they take the fuel to the fuel stop for you. They are well sign posted from the road. However, if you dont have anyone thats not riding with you Im sure Ive seen people about that give their petrol to others that are heading up to the fuel stops. I think this is what happens, but not entirely sure. If you dont find out before the weekend, just ask at the start when you sign on and Im sure Midge will be able to help. I remeber when I was little it was like packin the family belingings when we went to the scottish! We used to totaly fill the car with every method of clothing you could find!! Totaly rediculous!! Went on one of his days a few months ago. It was really good. He sets out a simple section and then changes it to suit your ability. I found it really boosted my confidence and gave me some new techniques. It was a really good day and we all enjoyed it, well worth it.

I have a sherco 125. Love the thing to bits and its still doing fantastic even though I tend to through it about a bit with my rubbish riding. I like it because it dosent feel too powerful but is still powerful enough.

HL you should have stuck about a bit longer the crocs and me were up dancing!!!

Well what can I say? Can only blame the weather man! Thank you to everyone who stuck around on Saturday I hope you enjoyed the day and the night! We went out on Sunday to lift the cards and it was pretty exciting trying to get them out of the burn when we were thigh (or more) deep in water. The comming down the route for the Saturday was even better, definately the new sport of bike surfing! Again thank you to everyone! Jenx

Yup camping available from the Friday night. Not sure about food on the Friday but the rumours are true... there is going to be a band and a bar on Saturday. And a pig on a spit, my Dad seems to be getting overly excited about?!? Weather up here is looking very changeable! We have had sunshine this afternoon but tonight we had a mega thunder storm and it is now back to being ok.

Hey guys! Although it says entries close on the 12th, we have decided to keep it open later. Get your entries in asap as it prommises to be a great weekend. Was out looking at new sections last weekend and there are some really nice new ones! JenX

Old trials fanatic, you touched a nerve there! Why did you assume that I was a boy?! Does the pink bike not give it away?

I would think that they were complete idiots. Why should you need to be paid to do something you love. A club should be run through dedecation and enjoyment, bringing money into the situation makes it more like work, not play.

Not sure about the lunch stop, but one thing I can comment on is the organisational side. I am 17 and I would NEVER take money from the club if they offered it too me for a day of setting out. I think that its a brilliant oppertunity to get out on the hill and get some practice and see how to set out a trial. Its also great fun to be out with people who know what they are doing. Also on the club front, I try and help as much as possible, but on several ocassions I have been held back because of my age, so that is a possible answer to why some young riders dont help out as much as they could with entries, results etc.
