Dave, I'm running out of excuses for not getting it finished. It's probably 99 per cent complete and just awaiting final cut and production run. I've been just so busy this year with both home and work life. I must get it done soon. I'll obviously lye folks know as soon as it's complete and available.
To those who've already send orders. you'll get yours first.
Getting very close now. final cut should happen in the next few days and then off to production only 3 months later than usual. I hope it's worth the wait but have my doubts.
Any gas gas dealer or Gas Gas UK themselves should be able to help. I've not heard of problems getting parts yet for a 1990 bike. Please try and use Trials Central sponsors, you may even get a discount.
I made a three bike one a few years back and the only issue is I never got round to properly rust protecting it.
Its a just a simple pair of light (250KG I think)independant suspension units mounted on a flat triangular trailer with another upright triangular frame that the bash plates site on. A strap across the seat is all that's needed. It's super light and can be easily stood on end for storage. Simples.
Get it changed. Don't fit a tube. Tube type tyres have a completely different bead and will never really work on a tubeless rim without fitting a tyre lock and that means drilling the rim.
I've been so busy since getting back from the event I just not had time to edit. I'm busy at work and have been back in fort William every weekend since the SSDT. I really need to get on with it. Keep an eye out here.
Yes I've still got 2008, 09 & 10 available.
2011 editing has been delayed a bit by life in general I'm afraid. I'll get on with it shortly and let everyone know when it's ready to ship.
I can't help saying this but I actually think it look the part. Could be one of the better looking bike. As Gizza says if it rides well and is priced right they will sell looking like that.
Thing of beauty, not.
I think I could have done a better job and I've only welded ally a couple of times. I hope it holds. Doesn't look like it flowed very well.
