hi there does anyone out there have 2 monty style trials bike out there for sale not new i dont mind if its bashed a bit im lookin for one to suit 5-7yr old kid and one on 20" wheels hope someone can help as my kids are driving me mad thanks

hi there i know this may not be in the write catogree but i cant seem to get onto the classifieds anyway im lookin for 2 monty style cycles one for a 5-7yr old and one with 20" wheels not new and im not to fussy if they are a bit knocked about it just to see if the kids can get the hange of it as they had bmx style bikes and seem quite good so this may be the next step hope someone can help out there thanks

betas are a good buy well made easy to work on and spares are easy avalable from john lampkin montesa are also very good well made loads of grunt fantastic back up if anything goes wrong the others ie gasser or scorpa, sherco all good in there own way its all down to personall preferance try them before you decide the build quality isnt over good on the gasser but they are very user freindly . as for buying off ebay be carfull you would be better going to look at a bike if you see one on there remember pictures always make bikes look better than they are good luck !!!!hope you get sorted

gassers are a god bike to ride but the build quality is cr*p if you are handy at maintence work ie suspension and keepin it water tight then thats ok me i would go for a beta or mont i had 3 betas now from new and great build quaility and reliability i know some people have had some minor problems but very smooth and as for montesas bomb proof my mate has a 02 model had it 4 yrs and never let him down he rode the scotish last year on it and still sound well to this day have a look at a gasser thats an 02 or better still try and get bits for one they dont exist shirty will tell you that they only do 05 onwards spares cant get them anymore anyway this is only my opinion ill probably get ripped to peices by gasser riders now never mind anyway good luck

any one out there who can help me im thinking of buying a suzuki beamish sidecar its a genuine one out of the factory whitlock one owner from new and registered but its been stood for a few years in a shed but it runs fine and its all there nothing is missing at all just wondering what its worth and if its a good investment or stay away from it thanks !!

well im no expert but think about this my son has a gasgas 125 pro 2003 and i wanted a new tank for it so thew other day i rang shirtys about one which they told me they are unavalable for 2003 models but i could have one for a 2005 model which would fit with a bit of persuasion with a hammer to reshape it to fit in the frame when i stopped laughing i realised they were deadly serios and at 170 quid no thanks some back up hey !!!!! and the build quality is crap dont get me wrong they are nice and easy to ride but think about the back up i have had 3 betas now and they are bomb prove in build qualityand the parts are no problem just ring john lampkin and they will be there in the next couple of days realy helpful when i sell my sons gasser this year it will be the last one i ever have he will be havin a beta 125

yes mate if you call grampian motors in liverpool they are very good and will usually do it while you wait also they are very useful if you are strugling to get pistons or liners and do alot of over ,over sizes

ive got a couple of the later ones they call mc laren alta with riveted frames one use to be john hemmingways ill try an sort you a picture

need some help off you lads a load of us trials riders are going on a stag do in cork in ireland in march and are lookin for something to do on the saturday daytime apart from getting p-ssed save that for the night time anyone know of anything good to do around the cork area thanks

if you want something simply that is easy to ride and low mantanace look out for a yam pinky there are plenty out there find a good one and your laughing they go forever a mate of mine is selling his to get a beta i said hes mad for his level its perfect by the way theres nothing wrong with beta,s ive had a few well made

concidering this is a show torepresent all aspects of the sport trials wasnt on the agenda there were only 3 stands <mention of this company is not permitted on Trials Central> ,gasgas ,john lampkin who was as usual very helpful but he was squeezed into a corner shame and a few classic stands which were good but overall the show was as usual dominated by motorcross something shoud be done about this malcom rathmell had a stand and no bikes !!! what was that all about roll on the classic bike show loads of goodies and goood bikes and plenty of autojumble bits well done alan wright
