  4. im lookin for a pair of crank seals for a ty250 im building anyone got any new ones they want to sell
  5. i have many t/shocks and ride them they all ride different but you get to know what does what if you want something that is as close to riding a modern bike a surgest a honda tlr 250 surspension is perfect riding position is good and the engine delivery is very good but then i like any t/shock and as for the other chaps coment about not winning on a bultaco what ajoke what chris clark on his bulto there isnt many clubmen can beat him on a regular basis
  6. you cant get genuine pistons now for ty250s and the pattern ones you get are slightly different on the ports if you put them along side each other you will see that the port holes on the pattern pistons are silghtly smaller and you have to machine them out to match the genuine ones also make sure when you get it bored out tell the guy not to bore it to slackthe tolarances are very important its better to be a bit slack and run it carfully for a while rather than run it with a slack bore an it rattle like a box of spanners but you can get wisco pistons from the states at the right money to by the way do you have a spare flywheel and coils with back plate for a ty250 t/shock for cash
  7. hi there a mate of mine on the wirral has one in mint condition in his living room ill ask him if he wants to dsell it but i wont see him for a few weeks
  8. i ride both modern and twin shock and pre 65 and find that the most fun is on my beesa c15 afer riding me beesa me beta is just so much easer to ride one thing you learn riding older bikes is throtle control and braking as they are a bit to be desired if all these kids out there rode a old style bike for a while what a differance there riding would be the only thing i find is in are club as probably most clubs the sections are suitable for modern bikes but a bit tight for me beesa but i still manage to get round on the other side of the coin ride a road trial there so different and great fun
  9. buget bikes i agree with one chap out there there are plenty of good second hand bike out there 1 or 2 years old but certain ones fall apart or becouse of how they are built need to be maintained constantly ie spanish ones stick to italian bikes or the mighty honda influanced montesa im sure other than these 2 makes they are made out of old washing machines as the metal they use is like tin cans and 2 years down the line mantanance ,mantanance ,mantanance etc etc then 5 years down the line try and get parts as i found out they just said to me they not avalable and modify what they send you now thats back up for you what happened to look after the people who are keepin the them in a job try it an see
  10. coolist rider has got to be steve colley and a great bloke to chat to before him has to be amos bilbao what a cool dude
  11. the problem is national with observes and the fact that we are all to polite we should take the approch of motorcross where you have to bring a marshall and they ethermarshall in the morning or in the afternoon if you dont bring one you dont ride as simple as that providing we all stick together as clubs it will work ok big entrys dont need 50+ observers but make a note of which riders observer has done the last few trials and that way you can see who is doing the most and who isnt making the effort its not just the clubs problem its the riders aswell ignorence isnt the ansew after all the trial is for the riders with out club officials to set it out there would be no trials yours in sport

    Gasgas Piston

the 200gasser jtx is not a crankcase induction the induction is on the back of the barrel thus needing port holes

    Gasgas Piston

ive just got a new piston from shirty for my nepews jtx 200 and when it arrived its for the later crankcase induction type with no port holes in the back of the piston when rshirty back about this the chap on the end of the phone said the the port on the back of the piston dont need to be there ???????? well i might be stupid but im shore that with out them the timing will be out and the engine wont perform his ansew to this was if i wanted i could drill a 14mm hole in the back of the piston to cure this as this is whaty they do as shirtys well this is wahat you get off main agent what do you lot think of this icant wait for your replys as im gobsmacked !!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. i use to use a shringe for oil it was great until the oil affected the rubber seal in the bottom of the shringe then the rubber droped off then i had to use a bung to stop the oil coming out the best thing to use is an old medcine bottle which holds just enough oil to mix your 2stroke mix but he good luck
