  1. Had same bike myself with exact same noise was basically exactly as you describe had it in bits rebuilt and still did it just put it down to character of bike
  2. my lads only 5 and quite small, they adjust all the way in to about 5-10mm from touching bars and are dead easy to use he has no problems at all using them
  3. look at the ad above your comment it's these middle aged men in BOY RACER cars i blame
  4. the clarke ones are really good for next to no money my lad has the exo skeletal ones on his oset didn't bother shortening the hoses just made a loop behind the number board, they even came with wavy disks too
  5. got to admit the halfords pro stuff surprised me it's really quite good, newphew is a bus mechanic with everything snap on and the halfords stuff is identical just a different name on the handle

  7. i find the diadora or forma boots tend to have a bit more room in the calf area
  8. get over to trials uk and see nige top bloke will give you any info you need
  9. you tried zip ties in place of the bolts so it breaks them first rather than mudguard?

  12. had a similar thing on my sherco took the flywheel cover off and there was a bit of crap in there cleaned it up and the noise went got to be worth a try??

    he ended up in the back of my van didn't make whaw bridge poor lad was frozen when i dropped him off at his hotel
  15. bearings all seem fine, been on it again today now thinking i put a bit much oil on chain and it was just that burning off made a flap now to stop crap covering motor will see how it goes over weekend
  16. cracking bike bad design for motor though right infront of back wheel only had it since x mas didn't think i'd be replacing motor so quick! best hand over £100 for a new one then

  18. took ryan out on sunday for a bit of practice ready for this weekends oset cup.After 5 mins the motor started smoking then just stopped dead, stripped it down there was more mud and crap in there than was on the field, anyway cleaned it all out left to dry for a couple of days then rebuilt last nite everything was working fine till this morning, again 5mins on bike it's started smoking again he's only been on tarmac since. everything looks fine any ideas what it could be?? don't fancy it stopping after a couple of sections and having a bad tempered 4 yr old on saturday

    didn't realise it was compulsory that if kids attended trials without riding they were expected to observe!!! maybe they just want to watch and have a walk round and enjoy themselves. perhaps if some riders weren't ignorant a***'s and actually said thanks after the observer has been stood there for 4hrs or so more people might volunteer their services!!!!!!!!!!!
