  1. Looking at that it kinda makes me feel good bout having swine flu and being confined to barracks for the next god knows how long
  2. We may have only been a couple of times over the last few years but there's a feeling you get when seeing the flags etc that you just can't descride if it was to be moved then there wouldn't be the excitement of driving into the fort in my opinion
  3. have you checked the bleed nipple is clean? know it sounds daft but i couldn't get mine to bleed all it was a bit of crap in the bleed nipple, also have you backed the adjuster right off?

  9. As long as he's riding there's a chance it might happen as far as i'm concernd you never know that bulldog spirt an all that
  10. What's wrong with thinking it might happen there's every chance it might or you saying the greatest trials rider, motorcyclist ever is no good anymore?!! i for one reckon he's still got that magical 100th win in him
  11. I've a vw caddy sdi the gasser fits in on the diagonal with the bulkhead fitted and there's still space for all the gear plus it goes well for a donkey, i'd plump for an L200 or navara etc rather than a van
  12. I don't know how anyone can sit here and slag doug off he's the greatest rider the world has ever seen! How many of us would be in the sport if it wasn't for a certain mr Lampkin? Personally i don't think the likes of dibs brownie and co will ever get near winning the wtc cos the support just isn't there, unlike the spanish etc who pile a lot more into the sport. If they got the funding from the lottery etc maybe but they're too busy giving sports we're crap at an always will be instead of investing in something we're good at.

I used to own one back in my school boy days an i found it an ok bike, if on a limited budget why not try it an see what he thinks for that money it shouldn't be hard to get rid of if he doesn't like it an he aint spent a fortune

  18. Looks like i'll be making a move to darlington in the not to distant future so was wondering if there's any decent places to practice and which trials to ride? The only real place's i know are dare i say it richmond but can't find me passport so doubt they'd let me in
  19. I found myself in the same situation about 12 months ago after each trial i kept asking myself why am i bothering? cos i wasn't enjoyin it. i decided to take a brake from riding an observe or atleat go watch, after a couple of months i decided to give it another go and if i still wasn't ejoying riding i'd get rid of the bike 12 months on and i'm enjoying my riding more than ever i'm still crap but least i'm enjoying it again, tis true what they say a rest is as good as a change ( in my case anyway)
  20. I used to ride a sherco 290 till this year when i switched to a gasser 200 and to be honest i haven't really noticed that much difference in power plus the delivery on the gasser is soooo smooth it's helped my riding oh an i'm 6'1 an 18st
  21. I was there when Dougie won his first ever world round and the atmosphere was amazing watching him ride the last section then watching him on the top of the podium. If we all get behind him like then and like the other year i reckon i could well be there to watch him win his 100th win which would be truley special, the man is a living legend lets send him out with a win!!!
  22. I used to suffer quite a bit till one of the more seasoned blokes at our club told me to take an asprin before each trial it thins the blood apparently. I've done it every trial since and never suffer anymore
