  1. Bloody annoying then Neon have you tried switching the choke on when its hot? if it runs alot better it could well be fuel starvation. Only thing off hand I can think of are the reeds or the floats sticking, good luck with it, might be time to take it to a dealer to get it sorted
  2. Come on Colin pole at Le Mans, love to see him win one soon and give him the extra boost to fight at the top for the rest of year (Remember Assen though Colin) Think Casey and the Duke will prove too much today though (Again)

    Bsb Snet

Nice one Shakey yesterday, pole at Snet on the spare bike as well Rea second followed by the Airways boys. The Stalker took fifth but got the time on his race tyre not a qualy so might be in for a shout come the race. I think Greg and Kiyo will take the wins, Haslam will lob it in one of the races along with Cal,Shakey and the Stalker
  4. Neon mate, hows the bike now? is it sorted? and what do you recon the problem was in the end?
  5. Hi Garth, welcome to TC, its a great site and very addictive like the Trials, our lot are just up the motorway in Oxford so might meet up one day at a Berko Trial or nearby. We dont usually ride S.Mids centre but might do a few this summer before the deep mud comes
  6. Lean/rich usually refers to the fuel going through the engine, not how much oil is in the mix, 4 strokes dont have oil for example. I would try adding abit more oil into the mix ie; 70-75ml to 5 litres but lean the engine via the pilot or main jets or both. Good 2 stroke oil can actually improve power output, running very small amounts of it are likely to cause more harm and wear on the engine without any benefits at all. The bit about the mix being leaner or richer due to replacement of or more fuel in the mix although technically correct is a load of b*****ks
  7. 1st Casey 2nd Marco 3rd Edwards Bradley top 6 I hope
  8. Me and James have got our names down for two, no idea when they will be arriving in the UK or if we will be lucky enough to get them. Nicest looking bike I ve seen since the 4T

  11. Think this is the little bugger!!!! How to make a chav **** hiself
  12. My brother had a shotgun cartridge thing he used in his pickup after he had two trucks stolen last year, works off a wire and has the same noise as a shotgun going off when triggered. Not 100% how legal it is in this country but i will ask him this week and where he got it from, all you would find in the morning would be your nice shiney bike still in place but a large pile of **** near the door. Could always spur off the garage ring main to the bike frame and wait for the lights to flicker, same thing in the morning, nice shiney bike still there but scorched chav welded to it
  13. Joe, I havent found away yet and I ve had Betas for the past 6 years . Doesnt take long to take the exhaust off though
  14. Barry, the Beta site just isnt Blue enough for me anymore
  15. Haha, yer video them nice one, August hopefully should be drier so maybe I was impressed at the level of all the riders there today considering the conditions, all of which had a good go at all the sections. I saw one lad on a Techno I think attempt the graded hill climb 3 times on the trot and each time throw his bike over his head on the rock step near the top, takes big balls to try a second time let alone 3, fair play. Even the Goat didnt make it to the top and he is renowned for big flat out hill climbs hence the nick name. There was a young lad on our route trying everything 100% and had better attempts than me on most of them, and too be honest if that trial had been set around hear 90% of the riders would have gone home on the first lap so well done for those who stuck it out to the end or went round a second time. Hope the leg heals quickly Malc, hopefully see you in August
  16. Malcolm, yer one of those days, not our best introduction to Abergavenny AC. Personaly I would have scrapped the Expert course form the start and made the Clubman route the Expert, would have been about right but still hard. The Clubman route should have been the easy route and I bet it would have still taken marks off the top Club lads. Me and Ryan entered on the Expert and packed up after the first lap after the sections got way to hard and slippy. I tried a few of the clubman route sections later on and they seemed hard enough for Experts considering the conditions, god knows how some clubmen even tried some of them. Even the Easy route was way to hard and I have never been to a trial where I have seen so many crashes and bikes flung over riders heads. I wasnt going to post anything but I did here one of the club guys saying well we didnt think it was going to rain? Its a great place for Trials but something should have been done before to ease the trial either as above or move some markers to ease the event off. I'm sure every club has its bad trials and its a shame for the organisers after the effort has been put in before hand. Hope the next Abergavenny trial goes well and the heavens dont open for you, nice to meet you this morning Just
  17. The Goat Ewers is coming as well, if theres any big steps or nasty stuff he'll whoop me and Ralph.....bahhhhhhhhhbahhhhhhhhhhhhh Dog **** Ralphy!!!!!!! anyone got the post code?
  18. Neon, like barry said could well be a bad batch of fuel or oil come to think of it. Go and get a new can and oil and see if that makes a difference and swap the plug at the same time. I would have thought if you had a blockage in the system the water would have p****d out everywhere by now. Could be float heights or blocked jets as well so give the carby a good clean if the fuel doesnt cure it. Did the plug look white? or normal colour? If youve got a local Shell garage try a can of V Force well worth the little extra money
  19. Dave, not 100% myself to be honest, i am waiting for Ralph to wake up from his afternoon nap (Bless) as he knows, pretty sure its enter on the day though (I hope) I'll pm you when sleeping beauty wakes

    07 Sherco

Dan did'nt see the Drewitt Replica was out already, will have to ring Kempy Monday morning to see if I can book one if available dont mind waiting abit longer, it looks the B*****ks, and yer ralph might have to PX the misses to afford the Caber rep Copemech, lots of people have told me this week that the 250 might not suit me and its easier to tame the 290 than try and get more out of the 250, time will tell though. Dan, have I started a trend for the dishes going blue? Ewers will do his nut if we all go Sherco

    07 Sherco

Hopping and flicking more then the big man? youve got to be joking, years off yet, the Bletchingdon Kangeroo is still the flick and kick master. Months away, thats why Barry, cant wait really and doubt there will be massive changes anyway, got the Reeth coming up in July and quite a few trials up north so the new bike had to be done now really before the Rev3 starts getting abit tired. I am seriously thinking of swapping my Mikuni over to the new Sherco as its given me loads of laughs over the past year and i will miss the little trail of p*** the Beta leaves behind it
