  1. I know its a different bike but on my gasgas I have to do it by hand it is much easier. Because the clutch drags a tiny bit the it makes it very difficult to find so what I do is pull the clutch right into the bars and give it a rev and then quickly use my hand to select neutral. The rev makes the clutch spin faster so it completely disengages. Try the above it should help but there is probably a bit of a "nack" to find it! cheers sean
  2. I have one of the extended alluminium ones from a guy on here called Ian well worth having! much safer and easier to use!
  3. Hey If your clutch is fine when it frees off then why change the plates? If it only takes a couple of minutes to free I personally would save myself the cash and put up with it! But any how it is completely up to you, if you have the cash you might aswell do it!
  4. Hi The pld chain will have stretched quite abit over time so That is why it fits with 49 links but sorry I can't help you with getting the new to fit! sean
  5. Hi I have only just checked out the site today so have missed this! Could you possibly tell me the sky number for future reference? Many thanks sean
  6. On my gasgas 125 03 i got oil on the front pades so the brake were atrocious for a while but when I finally changed them the brake was fantastic! The first trial with new pads I was pulling a wheelie and someone cut me up so Idropped the front very rapidly yanked on the front brake very hard with two fingers and flew over the bars!lol I don't even think the back wheel lifted but I did't have my arms tensed for that kind of force!lol Probably one of the funniest moments I have experienced!lol Sean
  7. maybe so! still pretty damn lucky though!
  8. The renthal clamps are the conventional ones aren't they? With top and bottom seperated? I was told gasgas would only supply the gasgas made hinged type on warranty! Your lucky mate!
  9. Nigel dabster I have read the hand book thank you and I did set the carb up correctly as the viseos stated and it still bogged down when i snapped the throttle the open but it is better now i have set it to bigwigs recomendations. If you have the correct amount of oil it saves time when filling the gearbox because you dont have to wait for the oil to settle. Thanks everyone
  10. tahnks bigwig! the carb seems good now thank you! I was wondering what gearbox and premix oil you use? do you know the quantity of gearbox oil you run? I have got the 48 rear sprocket on order and have the 9 on the bike at the moment but the chain is to long to tension it but when i put the 48 rear on will i need a longer chain? Thanks very much sean
  11. Yep pull the clutch cover off (no need to drain gearbox oil just lay the bike on its side) and you will see the clutch and in the centre you will see the bolt put it in with a bit of lock tite on it and snugg up dont over tighten
  12. i definately with bigwig it hapened on my gasgas03 last november. the thing different on mine was i couldnt pull the leaver at all!
  13. Yes the shop said they have the restrictor out but will check anyway!
  14. yer done everything exept the flap forgot to do it today until i looked on here!lol got a 9 tooth front on order didnt know about the rear but will get one in the post! the carb is still bogging down with the mixture creww right oout at about six turns! Do you think it needs re-jetting or will it get better when the bike is run in? Cheers sean
  15. Hey again! got he bike on sat! washed the tank out, oiled the air filter cleaned the carb out and tank tap then mixed up some 50:1 fuel to start to run it on and fired it up! It started first kick but from cold and when warmed up if you blip the throttle wide open it just bogges (not making it screem just to getit to pick the reves up(if you know what i mean))! On the workshop videos to set the carb up the guy said to set it to a slow idle then close the mixture rite down then half a turn open blip the throttle, again if bog half turn open keep doing this until it doesnt bog anymore then when you get to this point half a turn a more he also said if the screww has to be opened more than tyhree turns of something it needs re-jetting. On my bike i have the screw almost completly out and it still bogs down! Is this because it needs re-jetting or will get better when run in? I live in west sussex, which i think is next to surrey so not many metres above sea level! Please can someone help me out? Many thanks sean

Bigwig:What premix oil dou you run in Alexz's bike and what filter oil do you use? thanks Nigel Dabster Yes I would never run my bike on such a weak mixture i usually run between 60 and 65:1 Thanks everyone this has been a great help and cleared everything up for me! Cheers sean Edit: another question for your expertise bigwig(sorry) what oil do you use in Alexz's gearbox? and do you have a set amount you put in every time? also do you run standard unleaded or super unleaded or what? sorry for all the questions but I just really want to get the best out of my bike! 23. HI For trials stuff I usually buy from the same two or three or guys which have thousands of feedback rat000ings and are int the majority positive! I have bought a couple of things from them in the past and know they are very trustworthy, plus, one of them ownes a shop or works from home or something 10 minutes away from where I live so if he did ever rip me off on something big then i would pay him a visit! Sean
