is there any good reason why you could not use one of these at or in a trial?? Would they not be more flickable and easier to skip round than a normal machine?? Granted big circuit trials would not be too much of an option !!

This is purely a sarcastic comment /reply to Ishy's post and i dont want to distract from any seriousness or helpfullness of his comments on this topic but thats the disclaimer out of the way......and so...... What if found so far and and overall with the new breed of monty 4rt's is that they are probably a bitch to work on and the problems are to me a complete mystery as i found the best way of dealing with this new breed of 4 stroke is to get rid of the bloody thing and go back to my tried and tested sy250 !! Yours back into polluting 2-stroke heaven!!!

Have you tried wrapping em in a bin liner Stu and then duct taping up to thee thigh Knowing you , you will need em tall enough to make sure that you can get some good deep holes in the middle of watery sections. (this is the sensible one ) Mark

There was talk of the next tc trial awhile ago and then nothing, are we going along with the new labour style spin on everything nowadays?? who knows wot is happening , is this site starting to get overly pc in that it provides what the importer dealer network wants info wise and discourages that "rebel" talk?? Im sure its just me , but everything seems to be getting a bit tame?? I demand to know what has happened to the so called riders forum trial , which in its infancy was hailed as the internet movement gathering pace and putting on real events and providing more importantly a trial for real peeps with real drinking and riding in conjunction with the best club in the uk. C'mon , someone must have noticed the lack of a promotion and even basic metion of this event?? Time to sit up you lot and watch my post get deleted !!

Ok , to change from the bitchy topic, im curious and interested in the modified SY of Nigel Birketts. I know one of the reasons for modding the centre box as a few of us have blown em open. But i want to know the details. What has he done and why?? What are all the mods that have been done, why have they been done and most importantly where is their a pic of the bike.?? (a good close up??) As im in the market for a new SY i want to know all and what they may be offering!! Thanks chaps

Eric , mine did the same the other day which was strange as i was having a look at it not so long ago. The problem is that you must allow pop ups in your browser settings !! I have the google anti pop up thingy running and nowt , so switch to allow pop ups and the whole site comes up as a pop up, not sure why ?? Mark

well it seems that everyone else has been off for an adventure as well as me on other brands only to return to the qualility of the scorpa. Now im just in the process of looking for an 05 sy250 racing to get me back into the scorpa way of life but the main thing i am after at the moment is .......the website of the aforementioned Fumitaka Nozaki of WTC fame. Hey Cota , i would serously consider wrapping the whole bike in pipe lagging if your going to continue to ride in rocky trials

Duncan founded and was PACE mountain bikes. And he is a corking rider.

They do check the bikes over at the Cleveland , not for full road legality but they always check and want to see the road tax,and no.board. As in my opinion they should , also with more and more of the road based trials becoming oversubsribed (SSDTincluded) i would like to see em make sure that folks hold a valid drivers liscence also. No bike test , no ride !! Why should a few go to the bother of being (or making the effort) legal when ythe majority dont bother!! Not many ally drivers will have not passed their driving test!!

We have always run lower and back footpegs on the mont which can be bought after market. I was meaning the carbon rear cover Ziro , where did you get that.? Are they6 for sale or did you have that made?? As i am in the process of getting some carbon stuff made and was wondering where you got the rear cover ?? Mark

Vicx has not emailed me to say that there may be problems so i cant think of a good reason for the trial not to go ahead , as the weather is also getting much better. Pre-preg?? I am after some things manufactured, for motorcycles. The hardest thing is to find somebody that is interested in motorcycles and willing to do small batch stuff.!! I need a mould making and then the parts fabricating and then a price per numbers and cost after that!! Any and all help appreciated...........................
