Just watched the spain wtc tonight and it showed very similar (if not the same) footage of the minderS behind the rear wheel. Rather than using themselves as stops they were actually holding a largeish rock from falling out of the section from which all the riders were using. The 'minder' holding it when Doug was setting off had Beta stickers on the side of his helmet and so no direct link as they were doing it for all!! To go back to topic...................Dibs for champ!!

I've just been watching the rest of the vids from spain and have two points about section 7.Doug looks as good as anybody in that section and probably the most confident. Do you notice though that towards the end of the section before the final slog up that doug has the back of his bike on the slab ready to set off and a 'minder' puts his shoulder up to his back wheel,presumably to aid his set off!

CK is 100% corect about Doug.A more determined man you will not find and no flying dummies unlike some.Just good quality Yarkshire aggression!! Is 100th is a coming and other than Bou giving him a push i reckon he could do it again. Dougs desire is what makes him Doug Cota kids Desire to......*%$

Congrats to Dibs on a well earned 6th place in Spain. Clearly not an easy trial and was well ahead of previous rivals to put a claim in for a top rider!! Seems to be going from strength to strength, clearly the talent is there and a bit more experiance of the big time wtc rounds and he is turning into a contender. He is another who seems to have adapted quickly and very well to the monty 4rt!! Nice one , you will be making cota kid proud

glad to hear he is a happy bunny. He needs a 'works' type master cylinder on for the front brake,ba much better brake as used by doug and fuji etc. Let me know if he fancies one as i know someone who sells trick ones

I agree with the above and although i know that the bikes are being stretched to the limits it does seem a shame that they can't build a bike to last 10 sections or so doesnt it?

House of colour do a matt black exhaust paint,they reckon that it will stand 1500 degrees if i remember rightly! Not cheap but quality paint!! If you want silver,demon tweeks do a tin of manifold silver that goes on matt and you wire brush it up to a gloss,ints competition stuff and about

Everning Perce, had great service for many years, 8 ish (i think) with freeserve then wanadoo,but since the "seamless" changeover to Orange it all went to pot, and the email was just a dead loss.As i was looking at broadband i looked at their package to bundle my mobile in also but the service has been so bad i have just got broadband through namseco and 100 times better service so far!!
