I agree 100% on the desirability issue!! As you know i like a tarty bike And although not a GG man the raga rep is indeed a great looking bike and exactly the type of thing that i would go for but also baffles me as to why trials lads dont like trick bits, and things that are a bit different,yet go after this bike . I know all the arguments about cost and all the rest of the B*****ks , but how well do these bikes sell!! That is my main reason 4 having a fat stroke albeit maybe temperary,just to be a bit different for a wee while. But back to the original bit , yep they look great but why have a great bike and not be able to ride it?? ie too pokey. If you took time out to think about what you were doing then maybe it might seem a bit daft , but hey maybe not. Each to their own. A mate of mine said that he had an unfair advantage with his new raga 300 rep, cos it was so good. But as said before by others as soon as he needs to crack the throttle open he loses traction and loses marks whereas with a 200 or something he would not have that problem, i guess there is quite a bit of machoism involved ??

No offence intended to anyone but why would anyone buy a full ( or overly powerfull for their ablities ) bike to then remap the ignition and calm it down?? Why not buy a 200 or 250

You lot really dont know how cheap yer sport is do ya?? When we were running our grasstrack sidecar outfit we would do 2 trials tyres a meeting (and that was been tight as they would only last one race and we did 4 !! ) The cheapo tyres were no good as they were too hard and did not bite but the ones that gripped were x11's and the pirellis , but we could only make em last 2 races. A tyre lasts me a year on a trials bike now , but even if you arent a tight a*** then surely no more than 2 a year!! Some friends of mine ( going off on a tangent) whose road race outfit i look after have just entered a 2 day meeting at cadwell , and that has cost the

Not too sure mick , i have wanted spares for various helmets new vents etc , but no joy. I even spoke to hebo direct about some vents but was told to buy a new lid!! I needed a completely new inner for a mate of mines hebo who had singed it!! (dont ask) and the only ones who could help me were www.haven-trialsport.co.uk They may be worth a ring as they gave me the new inners of a damaged lid. mark. mm, just noticed that you are in NZ , try i yer local dealer , or try shoei and see what they say. If it is me who has got i wrong and you do mean the protective polystyrene , get rid and save yer swede !!

Well done guys for taking it in good fun , thought of the pic and thought it would be good for a laugh , as some people seem to have had a sense of humour failure recently !! Trials should = fun !! Certainly would help me keep my feet up !!

A friend of mine makes them. His company mostly fabricates stuff for rally cars , but he also rides trials.!! Fly wheel weights for gas gas pros among other stuff, but he has made and can make flat sumpguards for your SY. Give him a shout at .... www.ralloy.com

I will tell you when mine comes and that will give you a few weeks notice about when they 'arrive' into this country!! Hopefully they will be about 10 grand, then all these shiney matching outfit bregades (spelling?) wont buy the bloody things!

pheewww , takes some bloody reading though Ishy , blimey its about given me headache!! On the 4st front , i notice that not too many lads have been shouting and balling about the fact that Martin Crosswaite has wooped some serious ass on the baby SY.!! A good rider can do wonders for any bike , and a clubman will do no wonders for nothing!!

Well my boots are now fully shafted after about 6 or 7 years and fancy some alpine stars for a try. I know this topic has been touched upon before , but i dont want a debate i just want some a.stars as cheap as poss.!! Who is doing/ does the best deal on boots?? As i am not a big lover of having me leg lifted!!

Is that casing magnesium?? or is it the other side one?? As you cannot anodise cast mag. ( to a specific colour!!, goes kinda greeny/brown) I would imagine that it has been powder coated. Looks very well though, the only thing that lets it down imho is the montesa sticker above the line and not across is is standard.

Anyone know when and if the 04 vid is avalaible yet?? Im sure that it is usually out by now or am i just being impatient. Looking forward to seeing the all conquering (nearly) TC team and Will Bratley's zebra scorpa having his almighty crash at witches (hopefully!! ) Anyone 'in the know' ?
