  1. Why only 1 day for the couple events coming up?? Conspirisy (spelling?) theories abound!!! If ya cant beat em , change the rule maybe??
  2. Bikespace. Expert , intermediate - hard course Clubman A (green course in other centres) half easy / half hard Clubman B - easyist course throughout
  3. Bugger , you just pipped me to it Stuhrc
  4. The 1st model ( 2000? ) of the Rev3 had uside -downers on HRC2002. Not that many about , and maybe with goood reason ???
  5. Exactly Jordi. Why when a few of the dealers are now inviting orders are Sandifords not pushing for the big sell? The interest is high and so the pre-sell should be in full swing. Most websites are carrying some sort of coverage but Sandifords still seem to be trying to sell the 03 model!? I aint slagging em off , but seems a mystery why they dont follow the same push as Honda machines usually receive/expect?? Even if they dont know , you would have thought that they would put out (as you say in a press release) information , no matter how basic. Look at when Scorpa were trying to launch the sy, they kept giving development spec and pics of the sy well before the bike reached production!! Are they now more interested in Enduro??
  6. If you are on Showa forks HRC then a new bike may be in order as TFT says!!! You can buy complete forks and/or stanchions. I enquired about some Showas for my scorpa project (mainly for the colours to go with the new paint scheme!!) but on hearing the price kept me Piolis Give Haven a ring as i know that they can get/ or do have em!! Cant remember how much they were now but i know that they are much more than the
  7. Why bother , when there are plenty of companies supplying and selling unreliable machines. Choose one of them if that is waht you are after!!
  8. Its only money Dabster!!! Who cares what it costs?? If you want something enough then you will buy it.!! I seem to remember a similar argument against the initial SY. Look at you with yer shiney van, personally i dont like to have ANY money if possible in a vehicle that will quickly decrease in value. But i'd rather have a few quid in something that i use for fun and pleasure. Namely a bike.!! What is the cost of fun? it is hard to gauge, what it is worth. How many trials riders are going to moan and say how expensive the new monty is , and then roll up to a trial in one of those Merc vitos , which cost a packet and are built in Spain?? They might as well be a Vauxhall for the amount they cost in rot and repairs. Cost is relative to what you want , it depends on your priorities!! Take CK for example, he wanted an alluminium fuel cap (the REP type) but said that are too dear at
  9. Get yer entries in and get your lazy arses all there to the tc trial!! For goodness sake, whatever you options you are not going to do better than this weekend!!! If you also want a social suprise! you need to be there for saturday night.!! The BDMC know how trials and partying works!! None of this crap turn up ride and go home for tea with the mother -in-law . Instead , turn up Saturday, get bladderd, eat loads of food, talk a load of ****. Then wake up Sunday , feel terrible, and have a right good laugh riding a trial!! You would be a fool to miss it!!! Get it sorted now!!!! From a fool!!
  10. FANTASTIC picture Boofont.!! Yup that was will bratley on his zebra sy. Andy sent me a message to say that he had had a nasty crash a witches!! I can see why , i dont think that he has ever been at that angle before, hence that smash. Will and bike are fine. Both have dented pride, Wil will forget about his , but looking at the bike now, i dont think that it ever will!!
  11. Cant speak for anyone else , but i ordered mine 3 weeks ago and was told a price , and the optional packages.
  12. Maybe the standard models Greg , but not the tuning kits/tuned versions. You dont get modified cylinders, and titanium goodies etc for a couple of quid!!!
  13. Thats waaaaay cheaper than i was told , by my source in the trade!!!!
  14. Nigel , there will be one bike produced and out on the market. This machine will be avaliable and MORE than adequete for the clubman/club expert rider. There will be then 2 bolt on kits to buy for the machine , an A and a B kit. The A kit will more than likely be as much again and maybe a little more than the intial cost of the bike , and will be suitable ( and more likely only avaliable to!!) world round riders! The B kit will be for riders such as yer Sam conner, Austermuhle etc standard British championship riders. More details will follow im sure.......... As for the release and rider question , not sure ?? Didnt they say that the little scorpa was due to be run in the ssdt but didnt show till the year after?? As you say , they are maybe waiting for full clarification from the F***wits In M**** (fim) before they press ahead with the full monty bikes??
  15. The same reason Nigel , why any old bike (to a degree) would be a success , if it were to be ridden by a competent rider.! It is not a useless tosser clubman who is on an overpowered machine , for his own abilities. Which is one of the most common things that some people chatter about !! It is always funny to hear em on about scorpas, 200's etc. 'not enough power for me!!' Im sure that will be a fantastic bike and a great success. Look how well the little sy 'sewing machine' has sold !!! Who cares if it is an old tlr, its a bit different to the usual cheap continental plastic fantastics aint it ??
  16. Not sold out Boofont , im still sticking up for the scorpa at every turn. I loved and still do ,the bike. Mine was one of the 1st 10 into the country of the sy's and saw me through loads of nationals , and took a lot of stick from a fat bloke!! And she was just a little tired!! I was just bored of MY bike really , not the SY. But a friend of mine had Ian Austermuhle's 03 270 for sale at a good price , so thought i would have a change for a bit. I am curently trying to gather some dollars together for a secret new machine. the hard bit is making sure the wife doesnt find out!! I am not even going to go into the TC trial debacle , but hopefully see you next year!! You will not be dissapointed , BDMC put on one hell of a show!!! Sunshine in dowers
  17. I have been thinking of getting some a. stars , but my gearnes have lasted me 5 years and their only problem , is that the sole is about flat!! the main thing that i wanted to say , and im a bit late in doing so..... Big respect to Boofont , for your advatar!!!!!!!!!! Pheonix nights with Brian Potter , now that is a class comedy if ever i have seen one!!!! Shame we wont get to see more of Max, Paddy,Rave On and especially Keith Lard eh??? Oh my aching sides , the Northern stuff is always the best!!
  18. I'm suprised Subiria, and a man of your age too!!
  19. well mine was yeterday (30th ) and im sh**e so that blows that theory out of the water !!
  20. Well done Kinell !! You obviously remembered to pay the observers this time !!! How come you were out of breath on the vid , ??
  21. Now dont you panic Kinell !! Remember , you are coming from the centre that boasts some of the uk's best riders!! You ride the terain and so will be able to handle a few round boulders!! Good luck M8
  22. Please excuse my ignorance , but is this a big trial , pre enter style , is there time ?? Questions questions......
