Good to hear from Ringo, get well, knees are a bitch!
-
No prob Chris, but I tried to catch you, know you were busy. Which bike is Ty on, the Beta 80?125?
-
How did Tryalsrider fare? I been looking for results, but the only thing I seen so far was sent out by Keenan, stating that Ariel won the womens expert?
-
So who won the kids stuff?
Just shows to go 'ya, If one is not on, the other is! Another year in the Pro's for Will Ibsen and he will be tough to beat! He has the STUFF!
I think we are going to see a really good TDN team this year!
-
Has anyone tried using the 5mm intake spacer off the '05 at a bevel, in an effort to keep the carby off the motor? Yet the tank and cable are still limiting?
-
Why did not Dabster buy Alexz some knee braces?
-
Good job Craig! Well, you beat Vern?
-
First step is to clean it thououghly, jets should be somewhere between 33-36 on the pilot and 118-122 on the main, with needle in 3rd groove as I recall!
Tangs level!
-
A word of caution, as the silver tanks are painted then the stickers applied, if you do not use a heat gun(hairdrier) to loosten the stickers, they will take the paint as well! Lessons learned!
-
I would estimate about 75 quid, but only a guess as the rates and taxes seem a bit different over there.
-
That looks just like mine ----------------------- The bicycle!
-
Should all fit if you have several hundred quid to blow!
The '08 or Caby graphics look fine on the silver plastics! I really don't care for the white anyway!
I think Smage was running the V-force reeds on the 125. No idea what to expect? The Boyesens seem too soft off the bottom on a 125, to me, all depends on what you want, worked well on the wifes bike, but most young 125 riders want them quicker, so stockers are not bad?
Others may tell more? What is coming on the Paxau bikes?
-
U go Boy! Who did you beat out?
-
: the diseased beggar in the parable of the rich man and the beggar found in Luke 16 ?
Could be, you got any dosh? Could you make a donation?
-
Smells like Chicago in the summertime!

The only thing I can tell you is that I have seen many successfull(heavy) expert riders on the stock spring. Technically, a heavier spring would be more appropriate for your weight, if you can still find one for that shocker, as the basic spring is really designed for about a 185lb max rider. Which is me.
As things go, the simplest thing is to run at near zero static sag, be sure to compress the fork before a tight section and let out excess air, and just learn the bike. In most cases it will be fine. Learn to use your knees! It is much more important! Absorb and SQUAT! A lot!

Aye, If he did slip a keyway on the flywheel, it may be a bit dodgey when cool, but ? I think he did not bring it to proper torque by spec. though, worth a look if nothing else!
Historically, nitrile seals have worked just fine in my recall, yet for reasons such as this, I tend not to stray. I do not like being the test pilot! I am way too lazy!
-
Did you find Ringo?
Be cool!

You may have just gotton it hot enough to actually light off the oil residue in the exhaust.
Did it run ok after cooldown?
You could actually measure the drained gearbox oil fairly closely. But i doubt that is it if it runs ok cool. . .
-
I can see your relationship there! And yes, it will work fine!
Sort of reminds me of my Russian co worker who used to race go-carts over there! If they needed a needle change, just put it in the lathe(or drill)! And measure!
-
Setting sections for a 2 day event can be a massive undertaking for a trialsmaster!!!
Think about it!
Typically here, we will run 8-10 sections per day, 3 times, then another 8-10 sections for the afternoon(advanced) riders! Then try and flip the sections for the second day! A real job for even one plus a helper! Try it sometime!

Do you still get the UK version with steering on the right(wrong) side?
