  1. Not to do with the size of the piston or reservoir with the bigger size clutch master cylinder , it is the position of the fulcrum being different between the two.
  2. Also Video workshops at TRIALS PARTS USA on Youtube
  3. Hello Manuals available at ww.thehellteam.com/tech support/gasgas info.
  4. Set the clutch plate pack thickness to the minimum thickness as advised in the manual and also use a AJP Large master cylinder if possible . There are AJP Clutch Master cylinders available with Large and small reservoirs. Also available are Braktec Clutch Master cylinders that are known incorrectly by the trials community as Braketech . Try googling them both and you will find out which is the correct one. Both are dot COM addresses. Use the long lever not a short or single digit mini blade and position the Master cylinder in board along the handle bar toward the handle bar clamps at the top triple clamp. Position the lever so that you are pulling it with one finger at the end near the ball for maximum leverage . Adjust the lever to move away or be nearer the handle bar grip using the 2 X adjusters one on the lever itself and one on the Master cylinder main body as shown in the Owners Manual. That's one way to get the easy pull at the clutch without it getting complicated and more involved plus more expensive.
  5. Its a tlr200 that he is fitting the brake hub off a TLR 250 into so it may need a custom spacer?. As you said just measure it and make one by buying a piece of aluminium tube of the correct dimensions then cut it to the length you need. Its very simple.really .it will also be cheaper than buying a spacer. For some reason spacers cost as much as an axle? Chinese pit bikes have 15mm axles so he could find a spacer set for one of those at Red Circles or somewhere like that for pennies . If only people could be bothered to do a google search then they could find what they needed.
  6. As I already stated , there is NO step.
  7. Hello, my advice would be to put your chain slipper pad on the right way up. I'm guessing you are in the u.s.a . Best wishes Alan.
  8. Hello @b40rt, I can see why you say that as I put something up about the new SINCRO model but I have no connection with the sale of Beta trials bikes or any type of Beta motorcycles. I just think as a recommendation and in the current down turn they if any will still be around to provide spares back up. Best wishes. Alan.
  9. As you can tell the world of trials is absolutely booming and overflowing with enthusiasm, or it was years ago until Donald Trump and his mates came and killed the world economy stone dead , I would recommend using any money that you were thinking of spending on your trials bike to help build a nuclear bunker in your garden. If you really are intent on trials then I would say that a BETA EVO 2010 on is a bike that is good as a modern trials bike and has good spares availability although nothings cheap these days.

  11. If you are in the UK then there are 3 cranks on ebay at the moment £40 , £50 , £80. take your pick.
  12. I know how you feel , Its nicer to have the proper parts but these days so many old bikes are being renovated around the globe that there seems to be less and less genuine parts available , and if you find something the opportunists are selling at ridiculous prices. Luckily its not gearbox parts etc that you want. Hope you find the actual parts. Regards Alan.
  13. Make one out of plumbing parts etc super glue silicone sealant and jubilee clips will help , Auto radiator hose etc etc , Duck tape, use reticulated foam in the right places near an airbox to fend off mud and water splashes .
  14. If t was me in your situation , I would be changing the oil and putting something different in to see if it altered the clutches operation. There are plenty to try out from 10w30 Mineral Transoil to ELF HTX 740 or PUTOLINE N-TECH TRANS GP , or GP10 , NILsl Clutch Trial Racing. and a few more on top. Different oils can give different clutch action. Have your clutch in bits and improve it with a bit of file work etc check everything is how it should be.. Did you thrash it while slipping the clutch in a high gear to punish it for its non compliance perhaps that may help what you describe sounds like the perfect clutch for a WTC rider it may be designed to behave that way . Good luck in your quest. Regards Alan.
