OK so to answer my own question spoke to steve goode today and he has some spares inc shaft and kickstart realy helpfull guy !!! This bike has a amal carb is that standard ?? anyway gave it a good clean out blew out the jets cleaned out the tank and gave it some fresh fuel bumped it down the road and bingo she lives, sounds sweet !! no rumbling mains or piston slap .Has anyone got a workshop manual for the Hiro motor as i think you have to split the cases to do the kickstart shaft ???? So its all good

Just got myself a twinshock aprillia with a a hiro motor think it may be a tx 320??? looks to be in prety good nick but needs a kickstart shaft as its been welded has anyone got any info on theese bikes ? Only got it for the wheels and forks but its way to good to break and it sort of feels right steering angle ect, just needs the pegs lowering and moving back so i feel another project coming on Any info on parts availability or pics would be very welcome thanks in advance for your help . Will try and get some pics posted

Hi Rokaria yes it looks very similar to your pic . IT has a oval swing arm with no snail cam chain ajuster , thats at the frame end , taper roller head stock bearings and looks to have been black from original . Thanks for the photo

Hi all just come back from wrighty's show and i found a cooper bantam frame in very good condition it also came with a pair of tank stickers i was told by the seller that it was a very small concern in the late 60s early seventies . Has any one got any info at all on these bikes ??? A picture would be amazing !! .I was thinking 32mm MP forks were used ?? not sure on hubs maybe the REH used on the wassell with chrome dunlop rims . Got a very neat little alloy tank painted white with it as a job lot not sure if its the original or not ??? any help with info would be amazing . Thanks in advance Martin

Hi Neilnh. I tried the domino slow action tube and its way to slow, go with the white tube [fast action ] domino .You can shorten the existing cable , or put in a cable spacer like they have on an amal 80/200 throttle . Hope this helps Martin

Thanks for that Trialtrial fitted the black slow tube and it was way to slow got a white one from one of my bantams and, WOW fantastic this bike is so soft of the bottom now. It makes throttle control way better for my ability , wound the tick over up a bit that`s also helped .Great bike realy enjoyed it last sunday at a very muddy trial
