Lost
Yup, nicked from the group of 4 sections, 14-17, 2 were below a roadway bridge, 2 above. Initial rumours were that it was one of Dougie's works bikes from earlier in the year, but talking to a well oiled Mont mechanic at the after trial party (wild by the way!! ), he said it was a proddie bike. Also said a second 4rt was stolen and a Sherco. Scary, we all parked around the same area when we were minding at sections....... Interesting chat with same mechanic re. certain ****-hot Spaniards being recruited for 06/07, though since he could barely stand, will have to wait & see!!!

Did It Seize?
That was for the nikasil coating to rightly tear away from around the ports!!!!! Had a feeling it was gonna go when I was watching the first time!!!

Did It Seize?
Okay, so I was watching the excellent video clips from the Brit WR, and it was the 3rd Colley-demo which got my attention............ 57 seconds in that bike nips up as he does a mono burnout on top of the skips!! The video stops then restarts before he drops off then bins it, but since so many of you were there, what happened in between?? Any reference to it seizing or anything?? Fairly special at the mono-wheelie stuff though!!!!

Richmond 3 Day
Super Event, us Irish lads really enjoyed it, & the beer in the marquee was a super idea!!! Great sections, superb cross-country and luckily, great weather (was watching the MotoGP from Donnington, couldn't believe how bad the rain was.........we were blessed!!!) Top marks to all involved in organising, we will be back next year!!!! Note - Perce, your camera skills are sh**e!!!!

Let The 4 Stroke Talk Begin
Doubt it.......... i ride a fully de-restricted 4RT and was cruising up big waterfalls & dry rock steps whereas I was having to ride ride the ar$e off the Sherco 4T when I had them both out recently. Would be interested to get them both on a dyno, perhaps on paper the Sherco produces more grunt due to the extra cc's but nowhere near the punch of the Mont, which in itself is nowhere near the go of those new Raga's.........flippin mental!!!!!!

Sherco 4t
Yeah, though by midweek a good few of them had got the hang of it & got the nozzle in beyond the brace, no problems then!!
-
Sherco 4t
I rode a 4rt in Scotland and no problems at all, was pulling higher gears across the moors instead of buzzing it, but that was purely for pace and not thinking of fuel economy!! I think the reason for the slow refill is that brace that runs across the tank just inside the cap hole. The army guys just took it easy instead of it p***ing everywhere!!

Lejeunes' Works Rtl
And the last one I have........... Shirty then rode an '88 model (have pics somewhere of him on it at the '88 Irish World Round) so mustn't have stuck with the works bike for long, or was it just tarted up with plastics & disc brakes??

Lejeunes' Works Rtl
Now in December '87, Shirty Jr. arrived over to the Irish Experts in Glendalough (scene of the 1990 WR) with the ex-Lejeune RTL.......

Right, 1987 was Eddy's final year on Honda before moving to Merlin for the '88 season, saw him at the Irish World Round in Kilbroney, can't remember where he finished but just magic to watch!! A few pics, quality is pretty crap though......
