  1. Donald I would be daft not to wish I was riding, but the decision was made. The SSDT is a passion to some people whether that be a rider, spectator, course marker (flags in bogs are not neessary) etc. etc. it is a social gathering for a lot of people..........but yes I would love to do it one more time as I said in a previous post in 2011 bike, fitness and body allowing See you in a few weeks yes boys and girls a few weeks!!!!!!! so if your training hasn't started YOUR TOO LATE and the moors will get their revenge
  2. That's me TOLD Looking forward to it in a different way and never really been that bothered about the weather, but this year I want sunshine in the bucket loads............ See you up there Mike if not before.
  3. Just a few of my collection When they started using the front number board the club used to collect these at the end on the finishers ramp, I suppose the intention was to maybe use them the following year, but that never happened. Better than the ''Home Made'' Yellow and Black ones that had to be located front and both sides at the rear, as previously mentioned they were the major part of your bike preperation and get it all wrong in a section and the side ones used to cut through your ''Ellgren's'' like a carving knife. Not long now how's all you prep going, mine is fine this year planning what to do each day, Lye in, Big Breakfast, Look at the Weather, Watch a bit of Telly if its raining, Go out on the bike for a few hours, Pub Lunch, Snooze, Bit more riding back by middle of afternoon and very similar each day.........................some days may be extended in the pub
  4. Can you find the Easter Bunny? . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
  5. He is learning fast the art of ''The Europeon speak good English Interview'' only applicable to WTC riders.
  6. Diesel Bike This has been around for a long time and and was tested by the British Military and the American Military, us Brits decided not to take it on. Just thought it might be interesting viewing and it does 96 miles to the gallon you could do a couple of days in the SSDT without refueling Ideal bike for Kinell as he wouldn't run out of fuel when he does his Grand Tour of the Western Peninsula of Scotland
  7. I reckon he will get a bit further, you seen his bike Monstertessa
  8. One for Big John so i will get in with something first! SSDT Pre 65 2006 maybe '07 What shouldn't be there is 'Dennis the Menace' at the right hand side, because he is a cartoon character Thats my go I will wait for someone with superior knowledge to update
  9. Very lucky indeed its one of those crashes that could end your season but top man for going on to win.....................not sure if this guy is human How ironic that the section sponsor was Montesa, don't think they will be using that clip in their marketing stratagy!!!!!
