Yes the 07 bikes had Satellite Navigation fitted as they were released just before the '07 SSDT
The Black Switch was to switch it on!!!
-
Strange really as a few years ago it wasn't quite a
-
Rear valve started to leak on my rear wheel on my '06 4RT
This is not what I expect from a 2 year old bike ridden nearly every weekend
-
Probably
............but I buy my bike because its what I want, definately not because it is the one that has won the world championship as their bikes are far removed from anything we can get our hands on and even if we could, we couldn't hang on to them
But your right in the fact that a lot of people will buy a certain bike because 'X' rides one

Don't think Money will have a great impact on Dougie's decission.
Throughout his career it has been about being the best and getting to the top of his sport which he has achieved.
Now he wants that 100th win and I am sure Doug will give himself the best possible chance at giving it one more shot in 2008.
If that is on a Beta or staying with the Montesa only Doug will know and who would bet against him achieving that in 2008.
Just my Two Pennath

Beat me to it Donald, as Andy said news SOON?
-
......................which caused several million
-
Absolutely,
I would definately like to try one to see how it goes! I can't actually remember ever riding a side valve bike.
Big John
Everyone take note ''Big John'' has NOT got a Side Valved Bike in his garage.....................Amazing, Truely Amazing
-
Now there's an idea
and I used to teach the SAS to ride bikes, maybe I am one of the minders
-
If they were riding a couple of 4RT's in ''Middlebrough FC'' shirts would that make a difference
-
Come on guys; you are probably the same people that scream and shout about no motorcycling on the TV, then when you get some.....

You moan
Not a patch on ''Long Way Round'' but better than ''the Soaps''
If you don't like it don't watch it

Out of the ACU Handbook TSR 43
''It is prohibited to use power washers, unless the organisers offer suitable facilities which comply with the ACU Environmental Code''

Good vids 'K' and the the lad didn't get lost
Footage ended quickly on the third vid did he crash?
-
Some good valid points there Robin, and interesting the Ladies would find the Youth Sections too tough at the World Championship yet Laia rides the Junior Sections so she is way ahead of the rest.
Don't forget that Dougie was way ahead of the rest at his peak and now we have got Bou and Raga calling the shots with others playing catch up, maybe the Ladies need to raise their game to catch up with Laia.
And before anybody says..................yes she is a fully sponsored rider now, but the hard work and hours practicing was done well before this remember seeing her on Transworld Sport years ago on a Beta, saying she hoped one day to compete with the men at World Championship level?
Seems she achieved her ambition

My lad is in the R.E.M.E (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers) so when he does go should not be at the sharp end of the battle!!
That is not to say that the mortars are still flying into the bases at places like 'Basra'?
On a lighter note a couple of years ago at the SSDT word had got around that one of the Army team riders was the first Challenger Tank into Basra, all guns blazing knocking over anything that stood in his way..............
Now on the finishing ramp having completed his first SSDT and the crowd informed of his heroics in Iraq he was asked about his last six days his reply was 'I would sooner be back in Basra'
Good reply! and for the record he is in Basra at the moment not much time to ride his trials bike this weekend
-
Watch This
Then ask yourself should they be there?
My son is in ths Army and takes the Queens Shilling and it would be his job to serve in these war zones, but to me it seems pointless.
I was ok watching the link up until the point that the kids came on and that got me.......................
Watch with pride and I don't care how bad your day has been at work these boys and there daily routine would take some beating
-
So OTH it should be a piece of CAKE for you this year on a 4RT; not only that you are only doing a 1/3rd of the course!!!!!
