  1. Thanks, I saw this video but being as the seals where in the wrong way I didn’t want to rely on it as fact, also you can’t see proud bit on the gear sadly. I’ve ordered a shaft plus any other nuts bolts washers and seals so hopefully I won’t need to go back inside in a hurry.
  2. Hi Guys, I’m doing the water pump seals on a 2019 ST, I’m just checking the order it goes back together as the exploded diagram has got me wondering if I’m right. Needle bearing Shaft Gear (step side towards engine) Washer Bearing Oil seal Water Seal Impeller
  3. Thanks for the reply’s, I won’t even be removing the bash plate the change the oil let alone the water. I’m surprised Sherco hasn’t corrected it. https://www.sherco.com/wp-content/uploads/SHERCO-MANUEL-TRIAL-ST-Serie-125-250-300-2022.pdf
  4. I have a 2019 250, which had a small coolant leak, hopefully just the bleed screw washer on the pump cover, it’s the first newer Sherco I’ve had so I’m not totally familiar with them, the info online is quite scant about the rad top up and bleed, the manual has the bleed screw and oil top up as the same thing I think, can someone confirm it’s wrong please? Also is the top up procedure as simple as fill rad oped bleed screw on cover nip to 10nm re top up, is there an overflow for expansion?
  5. Are they skipping 18 and going straight to 19
  6. The covers where pretty rare, mine was the only one I ever saw, I gave it to a mate who’s a bit of a collector, they where cast and the hose angled, the hose needed to be shortened a bit, I’ll see if I have a pic later.
  7. Ta, are the 18 bikes imminent?
  8. SY tuning wasn’t all about making them more wick, lots of people swapped the flywheels from older bikes and Tyz’s (3.1kg) to give better grip, the Tyz had steel reeds and stoppers, the stoppers where used to smooth the power at the top end, there was a little porting done too. I had one of those water pump houses, while they sound a good idea the I was always worried if it took a hit the case would get trashed.
  9. Any more news on theses? I’m on the market but reluctant to buy a 2017 if a new bike is on the way.

Silver Ano frame will look ace! Way better than painted, was the last time they did this on the 2010 bike?

Has it got a new flywheel cover?

Ace, glad there's one in the tank, probably going to chuck an inline filter in as well so I can see if it's out of juice easily

Do the the 2014 Evo's come with any type of fuel filter,There isn't an inline one but is there one in the tank or carb? Do you guys fit inline ones? Cheers GZ:)
  14. They are out of production because because of financial mis management, not because the SY was a bad bike as you suggest. Lots of bikes have flaws, drop most the wrong way and and you'll shag em somehow. This doesn't detract from the fact that the Bike has had it's day, parts are hard to come by.
  15. Is it that bike? Looks rough and at 2000 you would have to be mental! I wouldn't ride it at all without a chain tensioner.
  16. Nightmare! Do you know any more about where it was taken from yet?
  17. The correct response is - I ken ya Bill, deep fried Mars bar?
  18. Aren't they just a standard bike painted up and anno'd by Pidcocks?
  19. I'm pretty sure the silver SR280 guard fits, you may struggle to get a white one now.

None the wiser, my French is bobbins. Are they going to run this bike along side the SR? if they dropped the new motor in i would be pretty keen on one at the right price.

    can you link it please?

So what is the switch in front of the tank for, dual map? has the 14 Sherco got a dual map? after studying the vid of still on Youtube it actually looks pretty cool, however with all the same bits as the Sherco its going to come in steep.

Helicopter tape, very common on mountain bikes, just type it in eBay, apply with soapy water.
