bought a standard 250 as an interim then because of that a 250 factory replica which is best bike ive ever owned
-
Had 2 300's then couldnt buy one so got a 250 instead (easier to sell), and its fantastic. Its not to snappy its in standard trim and has less top end power and grunt, = easier to ride.
-
Its a bit like rugby you like union i like league both use the same ball and pitch but quite different game.
All round Dougie is and always will be the best. He has won everything, more than once!
But to achieve what Bou has done for so long with so much dominance is another best. Because he hasnt ridden the scott and the ssdt doesnt mean he isnt as good just one day he should prove it.
-
....or you could win the reliabilty six days trial in scotland?
-
If you are bothered about this have you bushed the pivot other side?, thats far more important
-
What like bike in York and tank in coventry?
-
Its rubbish because its not true that bous bike isnt special.
I cant remember the exact weight but it was close to ragas in France wtc when I was stood next to scales in 2011.
The fact that gears are taken out traction control 3 switch map settings different height cylinder different crankcases different frame special tyres ti spindles(illegal) twin spark lightweight shock etc are all visible perhaps is a clear indication to fair minded people that to say his bike is standard is RUBBISH! Clear enough?
Yes container ships and trials bikes there so close in design and manufacture and use arent they. Rubbish again.
-
..and the only time the weight was checked was technical control the day before the event?
Call me an old sceptic but whats the incentive for anyone to actually compete on a bike that weighs the correct amount?
Hopefully the ACU will grab the bull by the horns and check the weight of the bikes out on the course. fat chance.
-
and rather nicely that takes us back to ask the question of the FIM as to why they go to japan every year simply to pander to one of the big four, who as stated above may not even be good for our sport?
-
-
...and special crankcases and less gears and i think we compare the barrel height once and it was different also.
Its in the opinion of most Bou's bike is the most modified bike in the paddock, not to mention the ti spindles which have been "banned" for years.
are they still running the twin spark system?
-
Is the vertigo truck there in scotland even if the bike isnt?
-
my mate did the pipe split repair last week, when you get that part put the hose on first.

....or sarcasm isnt a trait easily recogonised by canadians?
Loris Gubian on gas gas. PACICC is pleased to announce that Loris Gubian will be the colors of GAS GAS in France Championship in Championship of France Open Free and on the European rounds of the 2014 World Championship. Its perhaps at this point that people make up their own mind as to the reasons, bollocks to one person is huevos del toros to another.
I'm assuming 280i is from french canada and having spoken to Loris and seen his recent performances indoors and out has the inside track.
Or not?
-
Ever since Jeroni had one and then oliveras having seen them up close the factory bikes have had enough power, more than enough. I doubt a standard one has anything like the performance of these bikes and can only feel sorry for loris that back up wasn't what it should be for a top 15 rider.
He's not the only one.
Both Wiggy and Eddie karlson had no minders in japan, they need some support or the wtc will hasten its own demise.
It should be noted that only 4 youths competed, and 2 local japs.
Whats the FIM doing about that?

TRUSTY, OSSA France and Loris Gubian cannot see the gap that exist between capacities of TRUSTY and OSSA France and those required to support a WORLD PRO driver on the Championship of the world. Loris Gubians decided to stop, as TRUSTY OSSA France took note of this personal decision. TRUSTY, OSSA France and Loris Gubian separates in very good terms. TRUSTY, OSSA France addressed their thanks to Loris Collins for this collaboration which was beneficial to the OSSA brand. Loris Gubian: "of course I am disappointed by this decision taken in common, as everybody knows my personal friendship with Bruno CAMOZZI. However, for WORLD PRO, it takes much more than a good motorcycle, it takes a solid structure. This structure of course I would have had it in Europe during the upcoming GP, but I lost my motivation, I was going to leave this tour outside Europe with a too large expected points deficit. This situation has totally demotivated me. Bruno CAMOZZI for TRUSTY OSSA France: it is with great sadness that we see Loris leave the team. But as I know well what can feel a high level driver, although I regret that we have not go at the end of our mutual ambitions, I wish him good luck for the rest of his career. The departure of Loris does not mean the end of the well team instead. Indeed, our other drivers are entered on many fronts, and we have much work to do together to develop OSSA in France, because this bike is really excellent and adapted to the needs of the trialists French at all levels".

I would venture to add that here in the UK had Honda montesa had a decent trials based importer that sales would have been much better.
-
Thats cleared that up then, was there any doubt?
And remind us why a weight increase would a) be good and b)how it would work at club level?
-
I would be surprised if the issues are not sorted on an early bike.
Price will be very cheap too, or should be.
