And the cost is expected to be 10 million
"we're all in this together"

I seriously wonder if we would be in the mess we are now if it werent for the policies of the government of the 80's.

Matteo Gratterola blew his engine up one year, big hole in the thing, yet surprisingly he managed to "finish".
Blatant cheating or rather bias towards Italians is the only down side.
you might get in the paddock as there was lots of space if i remember rightly?
-
You need to be fit if you have no facility to be on a trials bike for 2 hours riding at speed you had better try to find some way to.
-
It didnt / wont so why change the one thing that wont improve anything?
If the acu did just one thing and didnt limit entries we might even see if no stop makes more ride in the btc?
-
I think every event should go no stop and riders be forced to ride rules that they may not agree/like/brought up on, because it will sell loads more bikes increase participation levels (to what we saw in the seventies) and create a spectacle at the top level so good TV will be fighting over the rights to show it.
No stop will bring riders back like Gomez Gibert Bruand Walker morris Wigg smage webb and others still in their twenties and pursuing other two wheel actiities, it will make diesel and entries cheaper, DHL the sponsors at wtc level will transport bikes for the also rans to the first wtc round in japan and the second in the usa free of charge from europe, and a small amount of start money to cover rider and minder paid from the £20k it costs to run a FIM sanctioned event.
No stop will increase entries at British championship level, oh sorry that cant happen the ACU have limited entries!
the benefits of no stop in the south of england will increase land access and create better sections round the four laps of the fields and make the ditches and tree routes so appealing entries to club events will be limited.
it will wont it?

Whist the entries are always good may i suggest you look at the ages of the riders at RMC events? Even the Gerald Simpson trial has a handful of riders from our centre (down south) and this just masks the fact that there is a decline in overall numbers.
I also think that the way things are going as far as the national Park planning permission is concerned, that trials may not be allowed in 10 years time in parts of the area. I do know that routes in the 3 day are adjusted to take into account parks views, so everything in the garden isnt always what it seems.
-
I wonder if its not just the midland centre but a countrywide problem that our sport is dying, just showing itself first in your centre rather than any other.
Without question younger riders even in their 30's are getting thinner on the ground in every centre, where will we be in 10 years?
-

As my last 3 trips to North Yorkshire Trials have been cancelled I apologise for entering this event, just in case..
-
Severity has nothing, I repeat NOTHING, to do with rules.
-
Tom get yourself down to an event near you and maybe observe whats going on trials riders are generally friendly folk and see how people get their bikes to events, if its not far a bike rack would work fine im sure.
-
...and where is the step thro bike after the osset, the small easily maintainned bike from all manufacturers ty 80 ish, loss leader to keep the youth going?
