Recently did the exercise to work out what it would cost to the states, about
-
I could give you a few inside details but perhaps here is not the place. Many do give up there free time of course, but that doesn't mean they should always be above critisism. Trials in our centre are very poor in general, and despite the free time and effort many give up (me included) you cannot make a silk purse out of two ditches and a few tree roots, I know we've tried at a couple of venues.
Bleak Hall as mentioned above was getting better when we lost it mainly due to the efforts of me and others with a digger, its the only way forward to be honest, but nene valley have some great natural land and I feel underuse it and have in recent times had only 8 sections on land clearly suitable for ten.
Nobby's nuts was lost when Banbury Nobac finished, why did the centre not do something about that?
Alot of these volunteers cannot see that the whole centre needs a real good shake up otherwise all that will be left is the roots and ditches..................
Hopefully the new practice land promised to replace BH will provide a more local alternative to the yennards.
-
Used to run great trials is the phrase you meant surely. What was it "the bill holt" that took in several venues. The fact is they have some of the best land in the centre, without doubt. I think you will find that riders would argue with quality of events.
-
or if you get a loose spoke another evenings work? And after a few goes how much difficulty will you have sealing it again?

I have had at least two restrictors removed by my dealer, and the one in the ehust he did was absolutely essential, and made no difference to the noise.
the one he didn't remove did and thats why he left it in.
A reasponsible dealer and someone who knows these bikes well is imperative, my guess is your dealer knows jack **** about 4rt's.
mail me off board and I will give you a number to call.
I am on HOLIDAY so it might not be instant.
-
tell us more,
when?
How much?
-
Give it till december and if the Xispa isn't out by then I'd give good odds on it never appearing. Its near enough a year now since it first appeared in the flesh in Andorra.
i still maintai that if Sherco got their act together and revamped the motor then it would make the xispa obsolete....then again if thats what sherco have in mind then perhaps Xispa are waiting to get their hands on that to copy!!!!
-
Mid marque (mass market)? How many are above them then?
-
Try setting sag first then adjust front so that when you push down on the mid area of the bike front and back depress at similar rates.
Anything much more than that and you need to get an expert.
One thing I have found is the softer the front the better it tracks, ie absorbs little bumps but then on drop offs it will depress too quick so everything is a compromise.
-
I had an ally one wear through so it wouldn't have been unusual.
Whether you look after these things has nothing to do with the price, just as the availability of a 280 and 300 takes nothing away from the popularity of the 250.
Supply and demand you have heard the phrase.
The Gas Ga raga is the best value upgrade period, the buyers of this years 250 europe wide prove that, unless you can string a reasnoble argument as to why not??
A repsol 08 4rt now that isn't good vaue and I have one, and tell me whats good value in a Sherco anniversary?
-
Quite the opposite you pay
-
Rip off my a***, the raga is the best value Upgrade available.
If it was a rip off why couldn't I and quite a few others not buy in june as they were sold out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
turn after moaybe one or two trials and the edge is still new.wait longer and there is much less point.
-
-
How much would you pay for one and why are you so keen, just interested?
There are no Xispa 250's in existence at present as far as anyone knows.
The kids bikes are available from John Shirt at Gas Gas uk.

I am certainly not on the payroll everyone of my chains has been bought and paid for by me and I honestly have never had one break.
In fact this year in france I bent a sprocket and stretched a chain and it still did the last day, so they do seem ok for me and raga.
Always rivet in a half link too!!
Just trying to give a balanced view.
-
with 10 43 on a 4rt a half link is the only way to get the wheel where it should be, so there is some limit on choice.
as for breakages, i can only tell you how I find it
-
I always buy iris and have never had one break. I like the lightness and freewheeling ie lack of resistance. I do change them maybe twice as often as say an r1 but they do have the advantage of half links.
-
my guess is it was a low key dry run to see if the event would work as a wtc.
More of concern to me would be the sections I wasn't there so don't know what they were like. I am hearing man made too much, and is jumping through trees wtc standard?
If its a money making exercise (Dirttrax is a buisness??) then sometimes the trials takes second place.
If they run the WTC there then a massive investment is necessary and I hope the ACU can oversee that the event does Britain proud.
Ask jake and martin whats involved and it is a massive amount behind the scenes organisation and preparation.
I am worried that a simple press release, up to date website and quick results have not been forthcoming, when these things are really a drop in the ocean compared to staging the event proper.
If its a case of organising a press officer or mate to spend an hour post event it don't bode well for the real thing?
-
go down the gym 3 times a week for cardio vascular 2hours each for a couple of months and your diet will be immaterial as you will be fit enough for your ride. Assumes you eat "normally".
Avoid gatorade.
-
-
Whats your age and fitnes levels, whats your weight and what events are you doing?
