  1. vw 174 and vto120 are top notch vans with very lttle to choose. Did 1000 miles in one day in the vw (one driver) and about 550 on a sunday night monday am in the vito. Just wouldn't be possible in a vivaro. with any "german" van you get what you pay for so can spec to the moon.
  2. Good idea but how do you qualify a "clubman"?
  3. As the crow flies, my ar$e.(Said in a royle accent) Seriously though apart from the twist and turns the ups and downs must add a fair bit aswell, don't suppose the gps gets that does it? Bl00dy great day though and I'm beginning to know where it goes now. Beginning.
  4. Billy I am a complete amateur at this fitness thing but isn't aeobic what you really want? and surely long sessions mimic the actual event which lasts for 7 1/2 hours for many? My pal did the marathon a few years back and embarked on ever longer runs till a few weeks before when he did a half distance wouldn't this be suitable in a bike context. Also he had a high protein then carb diet what about those. ps. Your mum and dad are very proud of you and rightly so, some achievement that. think your training should involve some hand toughening as those blisters look very painful.
  5. I'm sure Doug will know when he's had enough but he is still head and shoulders above all the UK talent, so maybe he'll do another year or two. At this moment in time it would be just great if he could help the others even get near to one wtc win but the chances of any funding for that isn't great. Now that would be a waste of talent if he were to just disappear from the WTC.
  6. Billy was doing real well had a good chat with his mum at petrol 3 and he was well up at this point don't know where he finished though
  7. I reckon it will be Grimbo then Dibs then fuji but guessing from what little I saw and heard.
  8. Bigwigg said 7 & 5 I think but that would go up a little I guess when riding. The front at much more than this would be too hard I'm thinking. You have a thick front tube in though? I don't think it would help arm pump etc if the front wheel is that hard the tyre is part of the suspension.
  9. Not the film I saw, that had two endings whether that was at the beginning or end and which end you mean I'm not sure. Great film though but then so was bullit
  10. Jon, here in the uk we don't mess with jets too much, think the gassers are pretty much spot on for jetting. factory kev and shirty will sort this problem if it is one, but my first trip would be to the dealer. However, assuming you know how the choke works and you have new clean fresh petrol and have a good spark then first check float level then the banjo filter. If not it may be the choke.
  11. You obviously forgot the ending of vanishing point.
  12. Is it not the case that the round in NI could be held at another venue?
  13. Weren't they made on the old Yugoslavia?
  14. Regardless of all the above, any euro van will be much easier at speed hold the road better and on the twisty bits leading up to venues on smaller roads much better than the yank stuff. Economy should be good but you will need high and long I think for the two bikes.
  15. You can get the plastic metal or epxy putty from decet plumbers merchants and that has worked on my 4rt since the summer.
  16. Pah, thats nothing. Watch eurosport tdn and see how many minders are in the sections for the spanish girls unbelieveable. tdn 9.30pm eurosport 2 tonight saturday I think
  17. sprinter is alot bigger than a connect, unless its a vito by another name? http://www2.mercedes-benz.co.uk/content/un...cedes_benz_vans
  18. I think it reads both ways Mark, but to clarify only one plug change on the mont so far this year!
  19. Bit like going to a doctor for toothache, but hey ho. Funny thing is its not right now, wonder if it really was the stator?
