  1. MIDDLESBROUGH m/bro motor club membership pm me if you want too know anything more.
  2. middlesbrough have a 2 day on September 4/5th a few of us camp over at that. hopefully more will camp this year, its a fairly new event on a superb venue. we cater more for modern bikes but clubman b is a easy day out so as long as its a trials bike you can ride what you bring.
  3. have a look at these not exactly what you are looking for but they are a good price. they do come in blue also but they don't seem to have them in. they have the matching shirts. T & E direct wolfsport pants try Denis winters (mx gear) it works ok. i bought a pair of enduro pants from them for the winter a little heavy but warm loads of pockets and ok for when the going is muddy, wet & cold.
  4. Its a good little trial at ellers. give all the Saturday night trials a bash they are a good little tootle round and you will learn more there than you will at charltons. my club also put some clubman only trials on which you will be able too manage.
  5. No problem mate. i see you are a member of guisboro are you just riding up at charltons or getting out on trials.
  6. Not sure about the sherco but gas gas mud guards come in 2 forms. 1 a stiff plastic for when you have the lights and numberplate attached, 2 a flexible plastic for competition. but too be honest when you deck the bike its a bit luck of the draw whether they survive or not. get a new one then use cable ties to hold it on and always have some spares for when the inevitable happens.
  7. Thank you for putting it on the front page Andy. aye steve you missed a cracking section in birks wood. which was rode at 90mph by mike watson until he hit the very last rock. rtd = retired. there was not many mind.
  8. Thanks to everyone who helped the trial run so easily and enjoyably yesterday, observers, scorers, assistants, stewards & club secretary (cheers john your a legend). we were blessed with cracking weather for the trial yet again this year (pity setting out day was lashing it down). After weeks of stress it turned out a good day, great trial and lots of fun had by many. job done roll on next year. Cleveland_results.pdf Cleveland_awards.pdf Section_scores.pdf sorry if you have been waiting on these results but i was knackered when i got back last night and just wanted a beer and my bed. I'm sure you can forgive me for that. thanks again and i hope to see you all again next year. Paul wright CoC.
  9. The Saturday evening trials are very popular round this way. they start at 5 and you can be home and out for 9. leaving Sunday for the family or too sleep the hangover off.
  10. i have cracked a few clutch covers on my 300 first sign is water getting into the oil then losing oil then kick start plays up. i cant see it being this especially as factory kev has Had a look but worth a checking i suppose. and 3 month then scrap it load of toss all depends on how its been looked after.

    Engine Died ?

2004 and the ducati same as yours. we have a couple of mate who have betas and the symptoms are the same as there bike when the stators went. but they are renown for that gas gas are not. still might be a good place to start because everything else is a bit difficult to get at. the ducati box he replaced with mine and no joy his worked on my bike so thats fine.

    Engine Died ?

Mt mate has the same problem with his 300. he has swapped the regulator with mine and that was not the cause of it. he has been told to check the coil the cdi and the stator but stators vary rarely go wrong on the gas gas. he will be taking my bike as a donor bike in a few weeks to try find whats causing it, if you have had no joy by then i will let you know what we found to be the problem. if you solve it first please let us know you might just save us a lot of work. sorry i could not be of assistance straight away. good luck. Paul
  13. I suppose the idea of closing dates is to allow yourself time for a ballot if oversubscribed and inform the unlucky ones that they are not in. no good having riders turn up on the day to be sent home.
  14. I do a fair amount of work for our club and i have took on the responsibility for a good few trials each year. I would not take on the secretarial work they do a lot more than you may think, nobody really wants the job. they don't get the fun of jumping on a bike to do it either. you should cut them a bit of slack its probably the crappiest job in a motor club. our club would fold without ours bloody sure i wont do it.
  15. we are still not full so if you get your entry in by Saturday you will be in.
  16. I have been up for a good walk round over resent weeks and the course is in remarkably good condition after all the bad weather this year. the sections are in good order and with just some pockets of snow remaining on the moor nothing major. 3 weeks until the trial all should be fine and dandy. there are still some limited entries available so please feel free too download the attached entry form closing date is Saturday 6th march. ClevEntry.pdf ClevRegs.pdf hope too see you there. Paul wright ANDY would it be possible to put this on the front page please
  17. Not sure about your pinking problem. but do know 300s are a bitch to start, i have to give mine a big leg full and have cracked 3 clutch covers across the kick start shaft hole. try to have the kick start at the top of its stroke rather than just whollop down on it. there is a art to starting a 300 and I'm no artist.
  18. If any one would be interested in observing at the Cleveland PLEASE send me a message and i will get back too you. each year we are losing more observers than we gain which is starting too become a issue so if you are up for it please get in touch.
  19. Think they did the same with beer THE B*****DS
  20. I will get hold of the lazenby ones. i don't think they are about anywhere, not on here or Scarborough anymore. the 2 day was a good trial, we didn't scratch the surface of that place last year it will be a lot better this year.
  21. I haven't got them at the moment, but should be able to get and will put them on is there any in particular you wanted to look at.
  22. cheers lads. i hope to improve it as i learn more but keeping it simple was my main priority, judging by your comments i have managed that. Thanks Paul
  23. We have created a link to a more trials specific web site that can be quickly and easily updated by myself & first gear Steve (not possible in the past). The hope is this is easier and more useful to the people that visit it, so please have a look and let me know what you think. Anyone with experience in this area please take a look and advise me on ways to improve the site. I have put a for sale page on the site is this a bad idea that could cause me issues in the future. any comments good or bad would be appreciated. as i am still learning about all this any technical advice should be made as if i was 5 year old. m/bro web site click on the above link then click on Motorsport section at the bottom of the page. cheers Paul.
