  1. wondering if its just me or anyone else has this problem, seems like every time i drag the bike out of the garage to do the routine maintenance i have been putting off for weeks the car pulls up and they all jump out bible in hand bull**** ready. always with young kids in tow so you cant tell them where to go. as not to be offensive in front of children i stood there for twenty Min's listening to s***e i have no real interest in. so if anyone reads this who does door to door bible bashing quick tip next time you see a bloke putting a air filter back into a gas gas ( square peg, round hole ) DON'T start banging on about the afterlife or you may just end up getting there sooner than you thought.
  2. i was struggling to get some pictures on then found if you become a site sopporter you can just post them straight on really easy. it does not cost much and is worth it to keep the site going. you also get some extra perks like world round vids and such.
  3. as far as number 3 goes the rumble is normal nothing to worry about at all. as far as the first two there are lads on here who will be able to help you far better than i can especially JSE the guy knows everything gas gas and is always very helpful and take a look at this it might help. gas gas info enjoy the bike mate. Paul
  4. well said don't forget Steve hislop taking the IOM senior tt in 1992 on a Norton ahead of a Yamaha having the a*** ridden off it by Carl fogarty. a long time ago yes but still a good memory.
  5. not sure about the price 5300 bit on the high side with beta and gas gas well under that it might struggle a bit especially with the economy the way it is. not a big fan of the color scheme. but its light I'm under 11 stone i would float away in a strong wind on that thing.( do hebo make concrete boots ) thanks for the edit andy.
  6. It also seems the better the rider the sneakier they are at dabbing so the rest of us lose out in both ways, bugger observing is a thankless task and some riders don't give them the respect they deserve as long as they turn up and mark everyone the same there doing a great job. thank you to all observers no matter what club center or country for that matter, with out you were up s**t creek
  7. I once watched a section where a rider put his foot down at the top of a rocky descent then proceeded to ride down it dragging his foot behind him like a stabilizer on a child's bike. his foot leaves the ground and touches again as he drags it over rocks on the way down as you can imagine. it made no difference to his score as he dabbed twice More before the end of the section but i would of been interested to know what he thought his score should have been for that particular part.
  8. right i will start by thanking the lads who helped me put this trial on cheers boys. now for all the lads who found it far to hard my apologies i took a gamble on trying something different and it didn't work out as well as i hoped the rain on sat night made things a lot tougher than expected thats not a cop out on my point as Clark of the course i should have accounted for that possibility so again sorry. for all the riders who finished the trial well done especially the youths the peace boys come to mind the youngest 8 years old on a small wheel and gets a good finish in good on ya kid, Hannah Richardson on a 80cc beta ladies trials de nations for you when your older pet. and guy kendrew outstanding in the experts if you read this mate your clean on the hill climb on lap one was a joy to watch never seen a trials bike move that fast. to the rider who thanked me for the trial ( and there was a good few ) cheers that was appreciated i was half expecting a lynching. so for those who hated it sorry and those who enjoyed it well done your proper trials riders. but next time i wont make it that hard i promise.
  9. we have managed to get the 12 new sections on with a good variety of section including a graded Hill climb with get out routes which is really good fun to ride i could of ran my bike out of fuel on that one.
  10. i don't blame you mate. I would rather be told to f***off than have that said to me. must of took a bit of will power not to knock him out. did anything happen to him for it.
  11. experts inters clubman a&b youth hard & easy course it will be 3 laps of 12 sections. with hard work, half descent weather and bit of local knowledge there will be 12 new sections and a slightly different route so a bit of a break from the norm. 10.30 start hope to see a good turn out.

    Gas Gas?

i have broke plenty of other stuff on me gasser but the engines class never heard of anyone having trouble with them. it was mentioned earlier about the kick starts try to always start the bike from neutral it's a lot easier for some reason and could save you a bit of expense in the long run. look after it and the bikes are quality put it this way my brother has a rev 3 and my gasser might cost me a bit more per year but i would NOT swap.
  15. leave the milk crate on the back & fill it with beer everyone will want to ride with you.
  16. I hardly ever watch the news my old man has found me many a time watching cartoons with the kids and asked why I'm watching that rubbish you should watch the news instead, WHY to get depressed economic disaster, job losses, rising knife crime, falling house prises ( that does not bother me too much coz I'm keeping a eye on the price of boats, apparently the ice caps are going to melt and flood the bloody lot of us, I'll be one step ahead on that one ) so sod it i will keep watching cartoons with the kids and the endless repeats of top gear, porridge, Qi, mock the week in fact anything that can put a smile on my face. on a personal note Christmas and new year were OK enjoyed time with the family and close friends, got the kids a Nintendo wii for Christmas and had a good laugh looking like a idiot showing them i might be older than em but still no push over on stuff like that. junior monopoly the little lads a genius takes after his mam money grabbing ruthless b****rd ( cr**py nursing home for me when I'm older). no matter what comes my way this year sod it i will be better off than a lot of people out there work should be OK but quiet for a little while but mountain bike in the park with the kids costs nowt. i have every intention of fulfilling some smaller ambitions this year somethings to look forward too 2008 was a dodgy year for me bloody sure 2009 is not going to go the same way or at least not let it get to me the same. so good luck to you all and i hope 2009 turns out a good one fingers crossed none of you have to suffer in any way what so ever all the best lads. Paul
  17. It will be m/bro dmc first trial of the year on sunday at lazenby. for adult and youth a & b, 3 laps of 10 sections with a good run round start time is 10.30.
  18. Everyone has there off days you have just had yours on your first trial back. you'll breaze the next one. I always seem to have one shocker of a lap on a 3/4 lap trial usually the 2nd or 3rd and the rest are ok that one dodgy lap has put me out of the awards a few times this year. But still enjoy myself so whatever. so merry christmas and good look to you all next year, im off to the pub. ALL THE BEST. PAUL
  19. Jesus that last hill climb is near enough vertical. i would give it a go though ( on someone Else's bike of course ).
  20. not sure if i would buy a bike from someone called WADDACK HUNT? my dad was once thinking of going into buisness with his mate glad they did not my dads called wright his mate was called crooks, would you buy something from WRIGHT CROOKS. good chance it might of fell on its a***.
  21. DON'T PANIC!! DON'T PANIC!!
  22. I mentioned this on another topic and got slightly chastised for it but one of the rules is you can fail a rider for unnecessary delay so the way i see that is like bikespace Say's if they take to long give them a warning if they persist on p**sing about 5 em ( get on or get out ) if a observer does this why I'm clark of the course i will back them to the hilt. i think the new rules will work out OK. i don't care which rules i ride under just out to enjoy myself, but under non stop, riding a section hit a bit of a hole or clunk a big rock briefly stop and i mean briefly and are given a five for it bit of a bugger that.
