Its always a pain in the a**e flagging out lazenby, cant put the course markers out the day before or the little asbo boys nick em so always a very early start the day of the trial. bill was up there helping me this year. me bill and Steve go ride a lot of trials together 2 cracking lads, they go well in the greasy stuff i hate it spend most the time flat on my a**e.

m/bro lost it ck the farmer wanted more than we could pay for it. i believe dirt bike trax have done a deal to get sole rights to the land for the year (with date limitations). we were a bit gutted we lost it but not that bothered who has it as long as they have the odd trial there too good a venue to lose for ever. there was a few of us from m/bro went and rode and had a good laugh made a nice change having nothing to do with the trial. the weather made it slippy as hell ck it was worse than lazenby, never thought i would say that!

theres nowhere up this way that you can just turn up and ride at. guisborough club have a practice area also but Scarborough's is a lot better. there's lots of land here but nearly all the places to ride are under the watch of the forestry commission, natural england, North Yorks moors national parks. if we upset them were all f****d. most the farmers are tenants and even if you do find one who owns his land he will want something to go on it so Scarborough would probably be your best bet mate. another point is it never a good idea to go out riding on your own if you have a big off you could be in trouble? at least at Scarborough theres nearly always someone around just in case.

Thanks for that nickerlias you have saved me a job. it was a cracking ride by Becky cook she took the inters class by a considerable margin well done to Shaun morris in the experts and Ivan philipson in the clubman classes on behalf of me and the club i would like to thank all the observers and the people who help put the event on far to many to mention, but you all know who you are and your turning out year after year to help out is appreciated. and thank you to graham jarvis for his foreword in the program. cracking weather for the full weekend don't get to say that very often at the Cleveland!

the course is in perfect condition and the weather forecast is really good (makes a change). the start/parking field is still a little chewed up from the bad weather 4X4 vehicles no problem at all, cars and vans might be better parking in the alternative car park this will be sign posted from the start area and the cricket pavilion. please DO NOT park on the road side or the eskdale car park. cheers PAUL

have you had a look on the sxs web site theres a lot of sticker kits on it sxs web site there good quality also.

when i ordered mine it says that you get them 1 week before the event. i paid for a camping pitch also and nave not had any confirmation on that yet they were limited so im hopeing i dont find out one week before that i have not got one or that might be a bit of a pain.

there was a xispa at a trial i was at a couple of weeks ago they are a nice looking bike have a look there are three pics of it altogether i think if they run well and can last the course they will sell looking like that

quick question john if i coc a trail and a observer gives a rider a 1 for leaning part of the bike against something and the rider complains. i would agree with the observer but if its not in the book even though its a mistake where would i stand. this must be what they mean by the unwritten rule. TSR 21 INSTRUCTIONS TO RIDERS any instructions to rider subsequently issued shal have the same force as these standing regulations and the supplementary regulations providing it is issued by one of the following methods. issued in writing and distributed to each rider issued via a clearly situated notice board via a riders briefing meeting so if i put a notice board at the signing on point stating it will be classed as footing if the machine touches ( and so on ). that should cover it right cheers paul

it would of been OK if it was you b4ort could of had a chat about trials. that might be the answer i will get the acu hand book out next time and discuss rule changes with em for half an hour see how they like it. junk e-mail winds me up also.
