I somehow don't think no stop will make that much difference too that lad.
  3. half way down the page trials registration click and print. have fun, good luck and let us know how you get on.
  4. take a look on here it will give you names and numbers too ring + some web sites north eastern centers I'm a smoggy myself but i have rode a couple of the conset clubs trials at buttsfield quarry a cracking venue perfect for you to start off at got a good mix of everything there. give any of them a ring and they will advise you best, they are a friendly lot even to a smoggy.
  5. which part of the north east geordie, mackem or smoggy.
  6. watch this from 4:13 think it covers it marcus brigsctocke live at the apollo
  7. The best will always be the best regardless of what rules you run under. there is a HUGE difference in ability between riders at all levels now and i really cant see how rule changes are going to make that much of a difference. obviously this is just my view.
  8. theres a evo amongst them sherco pics that is nice.
  9. 2nd pic bottom left is stuart tate we think.
  10. there is 4 perrys in the top one and another tate in the bottom one if it helps
  11. I got this from first gear Steve they are from the late 70s early 80s he knows who they all are but i thought a few of you might like to have a guess.
  12. I'm observing the last section in ruswarp. should i take a spare or just a s**t load of gaffer tape?
  13. good man. i have been after one for a while i will be looking you up on ebay shortly cheers.
  14. well said baldilocks. bilc0. this thread may not be anti xispa but beta, gas gas, Mont's, sherco & scorpas get sold all the time with plenty of spare parts and they don't turn up on here. I'm not accusing anyone of being anti xispa but there are a few who seem to be quick to knock them and i cant understand why.
  15. Do you have a phone number for him please.
  16. I hammered a rear tire on the reeth 3 day so thats possible, for gods sake give the bikes a proper chance before you slate em.
  17. looks like a good few of us on here have the game we should start adding each other as friends on xbox live and have our own little TC league. so we have biffsgasgas I'm WRI5HTY any more.
  18. your bang on right there ishy i cant agree with you more. my family were into trials before i was born organizing riding the lot near enough every weekend, so i was brought into it from a very young age, never pushed to be a star though, my dad just let me get on with it which is probably why i was so sh**e. but i still left the sport at the late teens stage not sure why now girls and beer were a major factor, but learning to drive and naffing off to do what i wanted might of been another. it might of been too much too young i don't know. but the sport dragged me back like it does most, it seems to get under your skin. i returned 7 year ago and i am now more involved and enjoying it more than i ever did. being older i don't give a monkeys if i am dead last as long as i enjoy it but i know i did not feel like that when i was younger. and that could be why some leave. i feel sorry for a lad of youth b/a age just coming into the sport there is no way he can do some of the sections in that class (Christ i cant) so he has to ride out of class against lads a lot younger than him and more than likely get beat by them and to some teenage lads that will be too much to take and dissolve his appetite for the sport. i understand there is no way round this it is just the way it has to be, but still does not make a difference to that lad. and i agree with the atmosphere not seeming to be what it was there seems to be so many people who blast round and bugger off home before i have started my 2nd lap. I think this is why multi day events seem to be so popular, ssdt, reeth, lakes to name just a few as well as being top class trials they have a night life too them also, people staying on to have a laugh and chat which is always a selling point to me. And i know at my club we could really do with some more helpers preferably younger and not just putting flags in a few to take on the responsibility of CoC would be nice its getting to much for too few. we (as in trials riders) are expecting too much from the older statesmen in our group.
  19. I'm glad it's selling well it deserves too. I have had it for a few weeks now and find it a very good game. i will admit in places it is not realistic with dynamite in sections (now that would be dynamic trials) but if it was too realistic my 6 year old son wouldn't go anywhere near it but as it is he loves it. later levels do need throttle control, shifting weight you cant just blast through it. and
  20. 2009_2_day_rev3_1_.pdfthere was a mistake on the awards sheet the amended one is here to view now. we have some photos with the kind permission of Mrs Pam lees. more to follow. 2 day pics
  21. sorry about the delay but here they are. awards.pdf saturday.pdf sunday.pdf 2_day.pdf thanks to all who rode and observed. Thank you to the farmers for there very generous donations to the charity & thank you to Clark's & graham Charlton's motorcycles for the raffle prizes we raised
  22. sorry mate there is a delay due to the secretary being incapacitated they should be out soon. i will put a link to them on here as soon as possible.
  23. Baz might not thank us for that pic mind. It was a shame we had to have some 2 way traffic but the bracken got the best of us at the end, i know steve himself spent 3 hours chopping out a track to solve this which ended at a bracken engulfed dry stone wall ( and a few choice words ). the venue is top notch and can only get better as we learn more about it, and like steve said we will start a lot earlier next year and if the brothers grim get phil's falls ready your in for a treat. barry overy knows of a huge graded hill climb on there that we will be looking for next year. i would like to thank the lads who helped us before and during the weekend and if anyone would like to give us a hand next year please let us know, as this is on a national park a lot of walking is involved in the working parties so its good exercise lads. John i will definately be pushing to get the centre to go with the 3 routes, there were a lot of people there from other clubs who thought it went well so fingers crossed it will be in for next year (i will try mate). but the 2 day is not in a championship so we can mark that out how we want. cheers lads. paul
  24. Christ i cant even look at a garden rockery without visualizing a section in it. I'm sure it's some sort of illness.
